Haiti got fucked because it's Haiti. Building codes are a myth they've heard of from relatives who made it to America. No matter what kind of natural disaster hits Haiti a couple of hundred are going to die.

I can confirm that literally nothing happened. It rained and I guess some people's power went out (and they still haven't turned it back on, lol owned by FPL) but basically another attempt to make the rest of the country think nature can kill Floridians.

Bitch, we live in Florida. Literally nothing except flakka, lightning strikes, and temperatures below 70 degrees can kill Floridians.
