Honestly I more annoyed at the REs over the FEs. Yeah the FEs are annoying and willingly ignorant, but the REs are fighting a losing battle. If someone is hellbent on the idea the earth is flat and that all evidence is faked, you will never change them. These REs need to log off and walk away.

Perhaps the round earthers are just attempting to troll. It wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the conspiratorial bent some of them have.

Here's an interesting quote from the Flat Earth article saved on RationalWiki. They have some interesting articles, despite the staff being politically biased to some degree.

Beyond the 150 foot Ice Wall is anyone's guess. How far the ice extends; how it terminates; and what exists beyond it, are questions to which no present human experience can reply. All we at present know is, that snow and hail, howling winds, and indescribable storms and hurricanes prevail; and that in every direction "human ingress is barred by unsealed escarpments of perpetual ice," extending farther than eye or telescope can penetrate, and becoming lost in gloom and darkness. Some hold that the tundra of ice and snow stretches forever eternally."[6]

Not sure if these are the same people, but a decade or so ago there was a Flat Earth Society that was basically just a less popular form of Pastafarianism, trollin' creationists.

The Underdark is down there.

I knew that most of them had to be trolls... man, some people have way too much free time in their hands, but hey, some nazi scientist used to believe the "earth hollow theory" so yeah... i won't be surprised if some people actually believe that the earth is flat.
