I played this back when it first came out, and was actually kind of surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Loved the look, loved the enemy designs, and loved how refreshing it was to see jump scares used as a punishment rather than a brainless attempt at a scare. I love horror games, but very few actually manage to frighten me. Not the case with Freddy.
However, I also thought a lot of the set-up was distractingly contrived. Yeah, yeah, I know -- wouldn't have a game without this happening yadda yadda yadda, but I think it's very obvious that Scott thought up a really great and original premise, decided he wanted to make a game out of it, and just tacked on some elements of the story as an afterthought. Don't get me wrong, I still really like the game. I just think he didn't put much lot of thought into certain elements of the game's lore. I normally wouldn't mind too much, but in a game built on immersion, I thought it was a bit too distracting. I'm hoping the sequel will improve on it. Those teasers look fantastic.

Since I beat Night 6, I'm bored. I decided to get drunk and post a playthrough of Night 1 with my brother. Took multiple recordings while watching Top Gear and petting our pet poodle, Spike. Still, we finally managed to get the mic and game sound at good levels, I think. The bad part, it's probably the least funny video you'll ever watch.
Still, this thread seems dead, so I figured I might as well try. This isn't for Youtube whoring or subscribers or whatever. I just want a reason to play through the game again. Please tell me what I can do to improve, as I know there is much. If this is against the forum rules, I have no clue as I have double vision right now.

Got even drunker and did Night 2. Things actually happened, so it's better to watch.

Now I'm offically blasted to fuck. Night 3 time. Stuff is happening, yo.
ANOTHER UPDATE:
Okay, I'm out of it, I know. Still, this is really fun on my end. The strategy in this video is completely messed up by my inebriated state. It's Right Camera, Freddy, Left Camera, Freddy, Repeat (with a bit of Foxy inbetween). Damn, this is fun!
YET ANOTHER UPDATE:
All five nights at Freddy's pizza place have been completed. No deaths, one drunk adventure. The commentary is better here than Night 4, though that's not saying much. Only thing left to try is Night 6. Doubt I will though, as I barely completed it sober. Thanks for watching, guys!

Sorry to use another post for this, but the media limit runs out at 5. I did Night 6 proudly drunk; it just took two videos. I only kept the older one cause my brother told some funny weed stories. Remember, it's about the journey, my friends.
And after this failure attempt comes the great victory of completing the Nightmare Mode.
Thanks again everyone. Criticism is very welcomed, as a hugbox benefits nobody. All that's left to do now is a 4/20 run blazed to hell and back.
BIG UPDATE:
4/20 Mode has officially been completed! Only took an hour, too, thanks to Bagel the Bagel's strategy. I'll admit, I wasn't drunk or stoned for this one, I hit the record button a bit too late because I was so focused, and there is no commentary what-so-ever. I can at least remedy the last part with high as hell post-commentary.

My 20/20/20/20 run while high with my bro. Post commentary, essentially.

Literally right after our blazed Night 7 20/20/20/20 post-commentary vid, we decided to record another run while high. It differs from the drunk one in many ways. First, it's a lot more terrible. On the bright side, it's much funnier probably. Night 2 is the farthest I could get like that, yo.

I love the phone guy's quote in the beginning. "Well, if you're hearing this, chances are you made a very poor career choice!" Given Scott's habit of being as vague as possible, there's probably a lot more to the game we won't see or know about until it's released to the public. I'm glad that it's sticking with the thing that made the first one work, which is that you cannot move and are confined to one room for the entire level. The new hiding mechanic sounds like it will make the game more challenging, having to hide in what appears to be a Freddy suit instead of just shutting doors.
Overall my opinions are somewhat mixed and I'm not judging too much for sure until the game comes out, but what I saw looked like a pretty nice followup to the only horror game I ever really found interesting. Also those new models look five times as terrifying as the originals, especially in different lighting and at certain angles. I'll probably be buying this when I get the chance once it's released.
