He’s been formally assessed and diagnosed. The way he was acting on his first night was consistent with extended release medication misuse, i.e. booze would sedate him and he’d crash, then after his body metabolized it he’s get a second/third/fourth wind.

He’s likely used street drugs, but I think he’s got legitimate prescriptions he misuses now. Something like Adderall XR and Xanax for example.
