watched it a few times, Ice has the proper contempt for the contestants and got a group that would certainly have a measure of infighting like the black guy and tranny, but there is some special magic that is missing from his implementation -- though iI admit I find fishtank missing this element as well post Season 3.
Ice made a proper streamer-house and kept it on-rails. That inherently misses the sauce that made fishtank good to begin with, which is that it's
something trying to be a reality show that clearly isn't.
That's the artistic sauce that makes fishtank good. Sam sort of just aura-raped everyone until it was within the bounds of his artistic vision. Jet's sort of good at doing that but as we've seen with s4/5 he doesn't quite have what it takes to commit to stuff, rather he over-commits. Sam would've thrown that fucking goo out and made it the city's problem and we would've gotten a proper ending.
Sam is a proper vibe nuke. He could just walk in the room and fuck everyone's day up without doing much, just smoking cigars and taking up space and being loud. Your brain does most of the work, trying to interpolate what's
wrong with this weird reality show you're watching. Something's fucking weird, that guy's just been pacing for an hour trying to listen to the audience, Sam's in the corner smoking cigars and mean-mugging someone, some bitch is having a mental breakdown in her room because a gay guy took her towel and came on it, there's some wigger with a camera in the other room filming a fat retard try and run on a treadmill. Your brain knows something's just fucked, and tries to fill in the blanks with its own narrative, which usually ends up becoming a shared psychic gestalt among the viewers and ends up influencing the actual contestants on the show. And then Sam comes in and fucks it.
"Fuck the audience, you're a bunch of niggers" - The show must go on, the cycle must continue.
