Speaking of I forgot to post yesterday Pissbois event ended, nobody cares. top posts on Ip2 were Moxie making actual content (DO A BITCH TANK AND GET HER SHE IS QUEEN), Whores who showed up after it ended, 12 second clip of it ending, Lettys vagina, some other contestants vagina.
Overall I assume this was not the nail in the coffin for fishtank nor even came close to being as content.

I can only really say that I watched the event day 1 and mostly the introduction of the contestants. The cast was rough to say the least. Checking in from time to time I never caught anything interesting and there seemed to just be a lot of sitting around. Not to say nothing happened, there were a few moments I think, but I did not catch any standout moments live, like the fights or whatever the clown thing was.
So I am not the person to really break this down at all. That said, I got recommended something interesting on X and I also saw this clip compliation that paints the event in an interesting light from an Ice clipper on YouTube. YouTube Link: Ice Poseidon Copes About His Event

Ice in the final challenge (12:51) does some Mr Beast bullshit all the way down to a saccharine speech about overcoming animosity and choosing the good path as if anything happened at all. It is frankly pathetic.
I don't feel like I missed anything by not watching this.
Sam tries to warn Ice based on his own experience running a fishtank-like event. He did a 'Kick House' some time ago that collapsed almost instantly when contestants left.

There is not much to draw from this. Sam thinks he has valuable insights and Ice thinks he has things under control, so nothing changes. It is a bit interesting to just hear these people talk candidly on their thinking process for the event.

Aside from a few people on twitter, it's mostly been people on 4chan hyping it up to own Goran or something, though even a few of them admitted they're only pretending to like it.

I watched it a few times, Ice has the proper contempt for the contestants and got a group that would certainly have a measure of infighting like the black guy and tranny, but there is some special magic that is missing from his implementation -- though iI admit I find fishtank missing this element as well post Season 3. His production value is much higher than fishtank by far, the lav microphones made it very easy to follow conversation and there was minimal TTS because Ice gets most of his revenue from KPP and Stake sponsorship so you don't have to listen to the same unfunny joke several hundred times an hour from the fishtank TTS. Glancing at the Season 1 feed on the site and watching some of Ice's streams just made me realize how much I've grown to hate the fishtank experience. Its borderline unwatchable now because the TTS is so heavy and all the fish just cluster around the camera mugging for attention just like Ice's show, this causes the community to not bother with the free camera movement scheme any longer, everyone watches director only. The TTS was pretty infrequent during S1 so the contestants were the primary focus rather than listening to some paypig spam the same fucking joke over and over for a month and a half.
I saw a tweet showing Ice made around 1.25m in revenue off the show in its 11 day run so obviously it wasn't a failure by any means for him, he always recognizes when his shows start struggling and ends them early rather than subject the audience to days of total nothing like fishtank does.
This has been said quite a few times, but I still enjoy following certain people out of director and seeing what they go and do. For me, having all the cams and being able to select through them whenever you want is the foundation of Fishtank, and if it went away I'd certainly find Fishtank less fun to watch.
