With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

    Votos: 213 23.8%
  • 4 Stars — Really good. Lots of hilarious moments, strong fish personalities, solid content and vibes

    Votos: 437 48.9%

Savannah Marie (?), a YouTube channel with 109k subscribers, uploaded a video entitled "The Most Disturbing Reality Show of All Time | Fishtank Live"
Garnered 700 views over 3 hours, sheesh. A bad omen for Fishtank.

I am currently watching her video. She was like "I was slowly working my way through season 4" and this is how she is treating the show

She was also very drunk that stream doing the classic "10 subs for a shot" bit, unfortunately we didn't get any good drunk moments like this old gem.

She was just kinda slow and slurry and it was BORING, NONTENT. Blade she is not. I think Mizzy is just not as funny a drunk as some other former fish because she's not an autistic weirdo. She would never act like Landon, or Bongo, for example.

Im watching the last s03 ep and while i remember that Sam was mostly just teasing and being kinda of a "neutral" person on the whole Frank vs Alex thing, why did Sam get kinda confrontational with Alex saying he's broke, never will be part of anything this big etc? cause he was truly about to leave this time?
Probably. Nothing else ever got through to.alex, so why not be confrontational?
didn't work, but still

Basically yeah. For a while it seemed like they were trying to have Alex B. be the winner of the season. They were really pushing the whole "become a protege" aspect to him. Maybe I'm being generous, but I think Sam actually liked him (or realized how stupid and manipulated he was) in some weird way. He realized Alex was being manipulated by the ogress and he was trying to help him break that cycle, hence the whole speech about huffing BBW latina farts.

On the less optimistic side, he knew Alex was a moneymaker and couldn't believe he would be losing all of that TTS money after all of the hoops they'd jumped through for him. Regardless of the reasoning, Sam crashes out when he doesn't get what he wants, which was for Alex to stay.

She don't fart, bro.

Episode 17 is out on Youtube.

FISHTANK S03E17 - WILD

One of my favourite scenes or sub plot was somewhat covered on the episode.
Jeff would complain constantly about people making a mess in the kitchen/dining room (pretty much everywhere) and his loud yell when Alex B emptied the Orange Juice onto Frank/The floor made this scene even funnier.

Had to add in another clip of the camera feed to get more of the dialogue as some of it was missing in the episode.

why did Sam get kinda confrontational with Alex saying he's broke, never will be part of anything this big etc? cause he was truly about to leave this time?
Because outside of Alex the show was either watching Burt jerk off and fantasize about murder rape or friend tank with people like Jobe.

The main cast of season 3 were great for people watching, but weren’t really all that entertaining without the proper outside stimuli.

That line really cemented how deluded and far gone he was. When all he could reply to that whole speech was "she don't fart," I knew he was too far gone to help.
It also marked the moment the show died for Sam probably, he probably did think at the minimum he could make Alex their financial backer and that moment made him realise Alex was beyond fixing or control.

Also holy fuck Connor was way more annoying than I remembered.
Yeah I got really sick of him during the show but I somehow forgot about his epic steampunk gay porn purse so that was funny.
I actually feel a lot of the cast is more annoying in the episodes. I was pretty ambivalent towards laron and smack during the actual live season but seeing a highlight reel of them in the episodes really hammers home how obnoxious they were.

Some more Jeff moments that were "so Jeff"
- Jeff not enjoying the hassle (throws a toaster at Frank and crash out after drinking ash water)

- Jeff passed out and being woken up by Production & Frank Hassle
"Man, I thought my life was cooked, this fuckin' house is cooked"
