With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

    Votos: 72 8.2%
  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

    Votos: 110 12.5%
  • 3 Stars — Average. Solid entertainment in spots, some good chaos and crashouts, but nothing special

    Votos: 210 23.8%
  • 4 Stars — Really good. Lots of hilarious moments, strong fish personalities, solid content and vibes

    Votos: 435 49.4%
  • 5 Stars — Peak Fishtank / Masterpiece. Non-stop insanity, legendary fish and production, pure chaos

    Votos: 54 6.1%

Ice is good because he's down to do shit like this, but Ice also isn't smart so he doesn't lean into the fact that he himself is a borderline retarded wigger with extremely degenerate impulses, opting to try and make normie "dude... we're getting LIT... and playing DRINKING GAMES!" type of content.
@Marche and I would run a killer spin off

The thing about Ice's fishtank is that the important essence of Fishtank is missing.

1. changing rooms on a whim. You can just sit on any camera you want or let the director control it. It's just director mode essentially and I don't enjoy it the same way.

2. Torturing the fish with TTS and different interactions is another thing. The Fish's only contact with the outside is through TTS and Dance Monkeys and Love Notes and Pep Talks and Plushies. That level of interaction also rules.

Ice's does feel like just a normal reality show...which is fine...but it's not as creative or engaging as Fishtank is for me. Fishtank I feel like I've gotta just leave it up or I might miss something. There's always something and there's several rooms. Fishtank needs an authority figure like a Goldstriker to a bunch of interesting characters. Imagine if Season 5 had a Goldstriker or something to absolutely command over them... imagine James Drake trying to contend with Goldstriker?? S5 was good for what it was and I really enjoyed it because it felt like it was "fun" in it's own way. Fishtank S5 is still better than what Ice is doing for me for that reason. There was a level of engagement.

Ice did choose a great cast though.

Checking the site right now with the season 1 restream vs whatever Ice Poseidon is doing, there is definitely something to cam hopping to follow action and check on different perspectives. That is a key ingredient I don't think copies ever want to bother with. Ice Poseidon's Hunger Games kind of had that but it was rough most of the time.

The cast is terrible, 10 identical braindead clipfarmers pretending to care about shit that doesn't matter
Every clip I've seen posted on twitter has been by a third worldist clip content account that gets paid to post these clips to advertise the streams.
Sure Fishtank did that pay people for going viral thing but these accounts are flatout just botted to all fuck paid directly by icepiss and other kick streamers to post their little scripted events.

Its all so fake and gay.

DM it next time so the wiggers don't copyright strike it
I watched 13 for the reveal (or 11 or whatever ep that actually was) and it was extraordinarily underwhelming compared to the actual reveal both as raw footage and recap

I also watched e1 and the critics were right they shouldve erased all references to fishtank in the edit prior or I dunno not tone deaf recap-tranny edit it

Im almost back to hating jet neptune

Looks like they're kicking Richie out, but he's staying the area. Dare I dream they found the warehouse....

I do this retarded thing where I take all the bits of things the wiggers do as evidence and try and line them up rationally, despite the fact that never works, but doing that here the logical answer would be that they've found some sort of commercial property. The sudden radio silence followed by going back up to RI for a week to meet with Sam, emptying out the house, crew members finding actual places to stay that arent the basement. Even Jet posting about the rental back in ATL would imply he drove up north and left his car there.

Remember: All the off-season content was planned purely for the purpose of funding a commercial property. If they found one it would well and good explain why they just dropped it and why they have old seasons on repeat to fill the dead air while they work on a warehouse (or equivalent type space)
