Stake makes so much fucking money they can easily afford to run Kick at a loss because of it. This is why Jet is trying to sniff after Kick money. With Ice the TTS is enabled just to fuck with the contestants on his show, its not a nonstop blaring hell that makes the show unwatchable because you literally are unable to hear anything the contestants say.

And personally having now had it both ways, I prefer this. Fishtank is like football for me. I love it when I have it, but if I had it all the time I'd grow bored of it. I'm sure sprintervan and Chud to Chad or whatever would be fun 24/7, but at a certain point it would kill the hype for the main seasons.
