With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Despite the rest of the season being more goofy and silly than other seasons, they ended up with the most horrifying finale out of pure laziness. I guess there's something philosophical there.

Having the twins shave their heads is particularly cruel when they knew they have no chance of winning. Letty can blame Jet all she wants but I have no doubts if she made a fuss they would at least not shaved their hair.

Knew it'd get him (Landon)

TTS was telling Landon that Ghost(Politics) community really brought their best with him, called him a faggot and said Ghost stood for Gay Homos Only Streaming Trash. Which Burt took the bait and Landon is pissed.
Burt: "Is that true?"
Landon: "No it's a different community, the Ghost community is the most toxic community online.."
Burt: "Yeah but it said Gay Homos Only Streaming..-"
Landon: "MORON, are you going to believe these fuckin' morons-"
Landon then proceeds to humiliate himself for the remainder of the night. Someone TTS'd that his nickname in the ghost community went from Blackberry to Pink Panther and he visibly looked broken, he idolises Ghost Politics, so any TTS that fucks with GhostPolitics or involves Landon & GhostPolitics is a weak point for him in the final days HE CHOSE to stay for.

I'll take this opportunity to lament one last time. It is a shame The Twins didn't win. I feel like they needed it on a spiritual level.

Their life sounds objectively shit with Bingo being an invalid and Bongo having to work multiple jobs to keep them from being evicted. Both of them had a terrible childhood and school experience. They are arrested developmentally. It isn't much of a life.

Compared to James Drake who is obviously socially adept, put together enough to have been married, take care of children and run his own production company.

Hopefully making it to the finale and winning 20k is enough to propel them a bit further in life, not just in a sense of temporary financial security but emotionally in confidence too.
 
6.5/10 season, maybe 7 if there was a better ending, not as many "peaks" as other seasons but not that much to complain about that wasn't already a problem in previous season. Pretty much a "tamer" season 2, but like season 2, it didn't have an overall narrative that played out.

The actual peak of the season (nobody watches fishtank for the ending) was the introduction of Burt into the goo room all leading up to the siege from the rest of the house breaking down the door, and then later the fight between Bashir and James Drake, cementing their rivalry.

The twins would obviously be the twin cherubs. Drake would make a mean Equius.

Get Bash to be Dirk, get Bam to be Gamzee and they could have created Lord English (It's just Sam in green face paint)
