Something people may be interested in setting up for the season

I feel like Alex Stein probably was the best fit to be the host. He understands the show and can fuck with the fish/project authority in the same vein as Sam. He can be grating at times but I think his S3 appearance showed he had what it takes. Oh well.

Not feeling great on washed sober Bam being remotely entertaining or capable as a host. Hopefully at least there's some fun to be had from TTS messing with him - though he seemingly totally ignored it on S4.

Haven't been following this thread closely since season 4 completely imploded but I'd thought I'd throw my two cents in. I support them getting Bam as a host and not putting Jet in which would have ruined it but there is no way he lasts more than a few days of TTS. Bam is a chronic drunk with thin skin and the second people start mocking Bryan Dunn or his drinking he'll walk and the show will be over. So they either censor TTS and piss off the fanbase which will cause a revolt or let them through and Bam just leaves.

Bringing up Dunn is funny for like the first 30 minutes then it's just boring low effort so I dont care if they censor it.

The question is, will Mints actually be smart enough to censor it properly? I'm pretty sure a lot of bad TTS are going to make it through. The biggest crashout of the season will probably be from Bam.

Sam only lasted as a host for as long as he did because he was directly financially invested in the project. His own money was funding it. The same is not true for Bam. Something to think about.

bam hosting is weird. it could make sense if he just pops in for challenges or whatever
sam was so checked out in the last seasons he was barely there and when he was he seemed disinterested.
so its probably an upgrade, but whether or not its actually good remains to be seen.

I can't imagine they're paying Bam much so I expect he's there an hour or two a day, if that. Not as much as Sam, but maybe more engaged than Sam.

I'm fine being wrong and Bam hangs out the whole day. I'm coming at this with an open mind.
I’m fine with Bam only being there two hours a day as long as he doesn’t box in the garage while the contestants sit around waiting to do something.

I think less is more with Bam as a host. The thing that makes me think Bam hosting may be a bit shit is if I extrapolate on his appearance in S4. Where he was hanging around and the thing was like a fan meetup. It was compelling conceptually that someone like Bam was even there, but in substance there wasn't much outside of ogling. It was not bad for what it was.

I think distance between the host and contestants is going to be important.

Glove status?

Still dont understand why they start this shit at 10am on Monday instead of 6pm when americans are getting home from work and white countries are waking up.
