This is one of the rare times where Alex B's story is true, Jaqueline corroborates it herself. The only conflict in their stories is that Jackie claims they are both into it (Alex B becoming a massive hog), and in Alex B's version he isn't. During Alex B and Jackie's "divorce" saga 8 months ago Jackie calls into Burt's stream 3 or 4 times.

I haven't checked in on any Fishtank news in a long time. I occasionally see Burt streaming for 100 viewers or so but I never tune in. Has there been any official news or any strong rumors of the show happening again this year or anytime soon? Last I checked it looked like Sam had distanced himself from the show and was focused on going viral on X/Twitter with his political content.

Every time Fish Tank would start a new season, my productivity in life would go from very productive to not productive at all. The FOMO the show created during those 6 weeks or so really would take a toll on me. I'd have Fishtank running on a 2nd monitor 24/7, or if I were in the car, it would be playing on my phone, or if I were going to go to the gym and something big started happening like an Alex B crash out I would totally just skip the gym and watch FishTank live with everyone on the site or in their Discord.

Now that the show has taken an extended break and the last season ended on such a bad note I think I can probably handle a new season starting and not letting it derail me like the past 4 seasons did.

I think his brother kicked him out of living in their garage?

I might have gotten the story wrong, but essentially the vibe I get from his family is they all know he's a self-absorbed wetawd, but I'm also guessing that they were the ones who got him in a work program doing the woodland firefighting.

While he's not mentally handicapped in a legal sense, Jon really isn't able to care for himself in a normal way, I think.

Genuinely is there a reason somebody doesn’t do their own Fishtank? Why does every knockoff fail the basic formula of multiple cameras, decent audio, and interesting contestants? Surely it couldn’t take an unfathomable amount of effort to rig up something scuffed equivalent to season one.

It's rare to have a) the resources to do it properly and b) enough galaxy gas to think it's a good idea.

Because generally if you have the money to get a professionally-done fishtank clone off the ground, you also realize that the legal risks of concussion/assaults/rape/zoning make it a bad idea to actually go through with it.

Its too lucrative for them to surrender the show, but that doesn't mean they'll do a good job, or give it the effort it deserves. Season 4 being both halfassed and a rugpull on the fanbase should have made the community realize this. They'll run a Season 5 and Jet will just have Mints censor any TTS commenting on the Nepstein stuff just like they have the contestants sign a document forcing them to not talk about Marky.
