  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Man I don't know. Not saying you're wrong but the Season 2 vibe was meant to be experienced while it was happening. Being around the holidays and then into January, in a funky weird house, Season 2 had a lot of downtime with Shinji shooting the shit with TTS in the middle of the night at the bar. It felt real.

Shinji’s fanbase seemed to mostly be casual watchers who most only really engaged with clips or people who’s favorite fish dropped out so they had him as their second favorite. The endorsement numbers weren’t really accurate because most people didn’t bother to change their endorsements after the first couple of days. When Alex Stein did his show, he did a poll and Shinji was in third place with like 20% of the vote after Tayleigh and TJ.

I can only speak for myself but I endorsed Shinji day 1 and had him endorsed until the end. I get why some people might not be fans since you could only understand like half of what he's saying but I thought he was really funny and a good competitor.
