With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I don't think it's 6 data points, it isn't showing all of the dates is all that is I'm sure. Even then, being perfectly linear with 6 data points is weird.
The total sales chart to the left is more reasonable and similarly only shows a few dates. It also shows season 2 really didn't do all that great.

The future plans slide saying how they want to license the show is laughable, I hope it isn't serious but going off of everything else, including acting like their game isn't a joke asset flip means it probably is dead serious.

Again, they need your rich relative to invest but also they take the show on the road last minute with serious connectivity issues. Their weekly activity chart being perfectly linear is odd, like something you'd make as a stock image chart.

They need to plan things better and stick with what works for the next season and a half. The fans would love it and they'd rake in a fuckton of donos. I hope the entities in Jet's walls tell him this the next time the Galaxy Gas hits.

Also what would licensing Fishtank even accomplish?

It's something they've mentioned since season 1 which is why Jet insisted on the tv length episode cuts like a retard and is also why they try so hard to have a narrative and specific moments. I assume they see dollar signs but their pitch is literally, and I do mean "literally," retarded.

One bottle is like $80 and assuming Jet huffs just a bottle of gas a day, that comes out to $3,360 for all 6 weeks a normal Fishtank season lasts. #wiggermath

Reading the numbers, its all related to season passes, and the way I interpret it is that they have made 600k in revenue off the season passes since the show began back in April 2023. There is no real way to determine profitability of Season 3 or compare it to other seasons from these charts. Season 3 likely broke even or was in the red now that we hear Sam talking about the RV being so fucked they'll have to eat the costs for it which could be between 50-100k depending on model. Between that and the Vegas bet they're down 100k-120k on something like 500k revenue for the season. Operational costs for the season probably ended up being another 100k and they're now trying to split 300k or so between 12 employees for salary over 6 months. They're lucky they did Bitchtank because otherwise they'd probably not have been profitable since Season 2 which ended a year ago. 2.5 was a prestige project and broke even according to Jet because he was being generous with pay and S3's fuckery with the TTS meant they didnt make money for half the season's run.

It is a little silly that they are trying to make games and other licensed shit, there is maybe a 1% chance its any good and about a 80% that its another Jimmycraft.

Selling the show is odd to me. I wonder if it is just on the table because MDE have been shopping around for buyers on Extreme Peace 2 around this same time.

Anyway they are probably looking at some great profit for the future now that they will not be buying a bunch of property anymore, at least for a little while. They need to put those savings into a new LARP season.
