The point isn’t that Burt would actually act out on any of these fantasies (again, I quoted him saying that he would not in fact become a real rapist serial killer because of the law), but rather that he has these thoughts in his head and he clearly obsesses over them to some degree, which is clearly abnormal and extremely contradictory to the gentle giant of mice and men portrayal that several individuals in this thread seem intent on giving him.
