With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

He messed it up yesterday and continued moving around all day, then was climbing today. He's his own worst nightmare for injury recovery.

My "Jet sucks" meter is nearly maxed out and it has nothing to do with Tay "in the last 2 weeks." You come off like a Tay simp losing it.
 
Fatty further falling into darkness banish tai and Xavier from the village. They challenge him pondering what would happen if they stay.
The Duke let Xavier know.

Xavier does, as the Duke mere presence weakens him.
As combat begins we pause so Tai can give a ciggy shout out.

During the fight there are multiple casualties. As King fattius and the Duke move in to take the killing blow Xavier sacrifices himself to save our heros

Luckily he uses a card of soul sticking on himself to also aid his own survival.

The battle at it's end, our heros return to based camp to regroup and recover


At some point letty used an explosion spell on the boss character to kill him but I'm on my phone so I wasnt quick enough to screenshot it 🤷🏿‍♂️.
 
Fish battled the bandit leader in town as a boss fight for one of the five relics. Duke was there resurrecting people as zombies. King Fattius was Xavier took a shot in order to prevent the Fish from dying. Just when you thought Xavier was defeated he pulled out a card representing a part of Duke's soul/horcrux and said the bullet hit it instead. Duke starts to scream and slobber all over himself while Xavier escapes. Fish are successful in winning the battle.

Xavier tried to save him from the duke but his hands were shaking too much so he couldn't line up a shot.

King fattius came back to say Tai and Xavier are no longer allowed in town because they're too big of threats. No word on Xayleigh, but the Duke and Fattius want the relics.

The Duke flexed his time stop power to get behind Xavier and show he could get the relics anytime he wanted. Moments later Bandits and Evil Kevin (form of bear) revealed they already have one of the relics and want the rest. Everyone without goggles was run out of town and a shootout happened. Everything went as expected until The Duke started raising downed players on both sides as zombies. After another minute or so, the party had the upper hand and King Fattius came out with a rifle. It took about 20 seconds for king fattius to down every single contestant he could see. The leader of the bandits paused to tell him he shouldn't use 100% of his skill because the show would be over once all the contestants 'died'. To remedy the situation, Xavier ran out and said HE would take the bullet meant to finish off the party.

Xavier goes down with a single bullet through his heart, the crowd is in tears!.. And yet he thrashes on the ground only in pain. He's NOT dead. IN fact using the magical cards he'd been teaching the party this entire time, saved his own life! Inside his shirt pocket, over his heart.. was a playing card of THE DUKE.

Following the ancient rules of 'bounces off me and sticks to you', THE DUKE was the one who took the bullet and lost the ability to raise zombies for the remained of the fight. Xavier fled having done his job in saving the contestants, and after a short time they fought off the bandits completely then gained the relic back.

Bonus: On his return, Xavier mentioned how he is aware of the spirits wishing to aid him in his quests. Using a powerful scroll, he opened a line of communication to the world beyond. I'm excited to see what asspulls come from this.

I'm sure this isn't the first time a bunch of theater people tried this, but it certainly has to be the most popular LARPing thing anyone has put on the internet in awhile, that doesn't involve Tabletop gaming. it unironically does remind me of 2000s era kids anime with the massive asspulls and massive focus on the characters themselves dealing with a bunch of freaks. Like imagine a mix of Digimon and Yugioh or better yet, imagine that yugioh filler arc where they're in a video game.

Jons back. He says they didn't give him an MRI. Just an X-ray, then let him leave so he did. Upon seeing him on camera, a horror movie sting sound effect played. Jon checked out the quest board upon arrival and we finally get a look at some of the things pinned on there.

That isn't even a quest. It's some AI generated furry art. Under Jon's wrist it says 'Expert sniper'. But there's another paper more interesting than some random OC art pinned to the board.

It's a threat! A written threat warning the town and party of a coming attack because of the killing Tai did in the completely fair duel against Miguel?.. Michael?.. Whoever Jet's character was. No one cared about him, no one was upset he died, and now he's back for vengeance (in the future), or at least his friends are.

Okay, I was worried there that the Tay/Xavier incident just completely derailed the show considering Jon has also been injured and MIA for most of the day.
It seems like Jon is back, Xavier did some larp kino, and everything is back to normal (sans Tay). I was worried a Season 2 situation was going to repeat where everyone dropped off and it just went off the rails.

A bit before the Duke walked into scene, Tai and Xavier were talking when a TTS came in going "Semper fi soldier, and stay frosty." Xavier held up his chin and went "Um, indeed, well, I'm not familiar with the last few words in that sentence but..."

The Duke pulled Jon off to the side and offered him Xavier's real name in exchange for his servitude, Jon instantly accepted but was not yet given the name. Apparently Xavier is NOT a vampire, but some 'being' that is controlled by his true name.

After a bit more tomfoolery Xavier showed up at camp to talk with everyone while wearing an extremely long white wig and carrying a folder full of paper.. He says the trap he used to save himself made him age hundreds of years older instantly. Jon picks a fight with him over being called a girl, which Xavier replies to by using a scroll of 'become a very cool guy everyone likes and respects' or something along those lines. Shortly after this, Lunch is called and Xavier gets upset, revealing the folder is full of 'important lore' that will take him roughly 4 hours to monologue through. During the spill, The Duke wanders in but says he's in bat form and everyone has to ignore him because he's a "small bat, silent bat using echolocation to watch everyone". Easy enough until he starts smashing things with a hammer.

He took out at least half of the eggs and a few cans of the zip, everyone doing their best to ignore the 'bat' so quietly flying around. There was a bit more tomfoolery where The Duke appeared in a cloud of smoke behind Xavier, but it didn't last long. Now everyone is waiting to eat what appears to be lobster dinner in town.
