Of all the S1 Fish Josie is the only one still streaming regularly. Her viewership has managed to stay pretty consistent as well, usually hovering around 300.
However; she may be in the early phase of a decline, having plateaued for most of this year. Subscriber count had been at 31.7k since January and it looks like she is barely keeping up with the natural attrition any online personality experiences. I do think she has a growth problem but so far it is subtle.

( Around July to November here looks similar but there is growth of 100 or so from node to node there when from January this year till now its been stuck at 31,700 )

She has attempted to simulcast to TikTok recently but gets taken down for whatever reason, cursing, drinking a beer, who knows. Seems like some AI-automated moderation, not sure. It has not been a good way to boost her presence so far.
She did go back to posting YouTube Shorts again after a short break with the help of 'Spruce Team Six' one of the few mods and former /tv/ /bant/ poster who does the editing and that seems to be holding off a potential decline.

We are a few days from the starting date of Season 1 and about two months off from S1 Fish beginning to test the waters on streaming. The fact that she managed to keep it going all this time is admirable.

Still gets big donos

I thought Austin was like one of the most expensive places to live in the US
Apparently she dove into some shadyass housing situation without checking the details; she showed up expecting to have her own bedroom, instead it was just two beds in one bedroom that she would have to share with a guy. He ended up moving into the living room and she has the bedroom.

It’s probably mostly from the bulimia. The energy drinks certainly don’t help though. In a couple of years her teeth will look like kingcobrajfs’s teeth.
Bulimia does that and also constant cigarette smoking stains the teeth. Tayleigh should prioritized dental hygiene.

Now that the dust has settled, I have to say I think Season One was the stronger season. Everything built perfectly to Josie vs Letty. Where with season two Shinji was forced into his role. There were several times towards the end where he made it clear that he wanted to leave. And Tay, the stronger thematic contestant and series antagonist, is out before the final act.

It raises a tough question because production seemed to spend more time on manufacturing a plot than anything else. Which made the plot weaker.

It's the micromanaging and the rigging. Anytime the fish started scheming the basement would come up and call them pussies or redirect the hostility towards someone who they weren't inclined to target. Or they'd be pushed to show open hostility towards someone they were trying to take by surprise. So the arcs got all fucked.
Then pretty much nobody left through straightforward elimination. There's no way in hell TJ would have beaten Brian at anything so they had to just shoot him in the back of the head even though by plot or mood or anything there was no reason for him to go at that time and every reason for TJ to.

season 2.5 real

"Season 3 soon, but before that: season 2.5 — a two week mini fishtank season that is unlike S1 or S2.. I’m deeply excited for this year. Details soon"
How much do you want to bet it's just random MDE fans, and all the challenges consist of shit like "First one to install new tiling in the kitchen wins poker chips." or "First one to repaint the S2 house gets immunity."?

NGL, if Jet and crew actually did that, I would laugh my ass off and forgive them for S2 sucking so hard.

I'd say they're not comparable, the tone is just too different. Season 2 definitely had a stronger cast by far and more moments of interest, but the hostility just drained the life out of the fish 2/3rds the way through. This led to a catastrophically lifeless final week and finale while S1 had a very busy final week and finale.

Half the cast left in the first 2 1/2 weeks because they were fans of the show and had no actual interest in winning the prize money. The final 3 were a Japanese guy who struggled to understand English, a super cringy Sam Hyde fangirl and TJ. How in the hell can you believe that was better then season 1 where basically every single person was determined to win?
