With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

It's hard to say, but he seems immune from getting voted off. I do believe what some of the folks are saying in the thread that it might just be a detox for a friend of sam/jet. Time will tell, but if he's jsut there with no chance of winning I don't mind him so much. he isn't really hurting or helping anyone else.
Tin foil hat me thinks he could have possibly thrown that nerf gun battle royale yesterday so josie would win.
 
Sam has showed up for tonight's challenge. Oven has been set to 500 and side challenge involves business seminar knowledge retention.

Vance is being scolded for the poor treatment of his niglet and Sam has called Letty demented for being a baby shaker. Jon's baby confirmed dead by Goldstriker.

Sam impressed by Josie caring for not one, but seven babies. Round of applause was had.

Nah he got bested, he went to Josie's room to get her and by the time he turned she had already fired.

She's a killer. Remember that.
Damiel is a loser. Hard to forget.
 
Sam is there talking about the baby challenge. Every time a TTS comes through, he stops talking until it's done, making this take forever.

Sam says that Vance didn't take care of the baby, so he has to be punished. The next fish buck he earns goes to Letty for child support. He then changes his mind and says he doesn't like Letty so the next fish buck Vance gets goes to a black woman of his choice outside of the house.

Sam also says Vance and Letty's baby is legally dead so they fail the challenge.

Sam says that if the house wasn't down 2 contestants, someone would be eliminated today. Since they're 2 people down, everyone is "safe" today.

Sam says if this challenge was based solely on the data in the baby, Jon's was the worst. Dam and Joise had the best baby data. It's unfair to know that Damiel is getting a fish buck despite not doing shit.

Sam says Sylvia did okay but she slept too much. But she did get 2nd place. Sam says the viewers want to see more. Says this Friday someone will be eliminated. Sam says he wants Sylvia to go, and encourages her to "step it up" if she doesn't want to get booted.
 
Sam brings in bags of hotdogs ("YEAH WIENERS!!! WIENERS!! YES!!! POWER FOOD!! WIENERS!!!")

Sam says tonight that they are not fish, but hogs. Says that there will be hungry special guests tonight, and that the fish need to cook every single hotdog within 15 minutes. Looks like there's about 20 packs of hotdogs lol

Edit: Sam has let the fish know they cannot sleep in late anymore, they have to get up early.

Letty asks how to open a pack of hotdogs. God, how sheltered is she?
 
Sylvia, with a baby in her left hand caught that pack of wieners with her right hand like a champ.

Also we've been saying "JAY JAY JAY JAY JAY JAY" at each other all day at my house. It's good. AWOOOOO~~

Also also they need to boil those hot dogs. Only way they'll cook that many in such a short span of time.
 
Poor Sylvia... the only reason people hate is is because she's fat. Can you guys take some time off from buying plushies for your squaw and get Sylvia a nutrition coach and some spinach? You only have another fish waifu to gain.
 
Every time Sam shows up he resets any and all scheming that’s been happening by fourth wall breaking. People get punished for things that move a reality show. People get rewarded because they drive fish toy purchasing. Telling Sylvia she’s performing poorly to audiences is forcing fake reality shit because they’re disrupting anything that’s real.

It’s interesting how the sharks have basically no effect on the contestants and Sam has too much. The cage challenge, shooting challenge, the play were all great ways to shake things up and let things naturally take their course. Sam showing up every night to scream and 4th wall break is getting old.
 
I want Vance to go more then Sylvia she's talking to cameras opening up more Vance is a two faced snake.

Sylvia is really trying to do well, she is being louder and doing most of the cooking of the hotdogs. I hope Vance gets booted before her.

Edit: It looks like they might actually cook all of these hotdogs. Jon put a bunch in the oven while Slyvia has been cooking the rest on the stove.
