Sam said earlier in the day that they were leaving right after the show, long before Alex started his gay story arc. He's intentionally trying to miss them by 10 minutes so he can swagger around acting like a badass. The length of the show is fucking up his game though; they've been going for 3 going on 4 hours now. This is making Alex look stupid.
