‘First black woman’: Biden’s horror interview

Joe Biden described himself as a black woman during a radio interview, as calls mount for the 81-year-old to drop his re-election bid.
The US President stumbled over his words during an interview with Philadelphia’s WURD, seemingly mixing himself up with his Vice President Kamala Harris.

“By the way, I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, first black woman... to serve with a black president. Proud to be involved of the first black woman on the Supreme Court. There’s so much that we can do because, look... we’re the United States of America,” he said.

Mr Biden appeared to be talking about his appointment of Kamala Harris as the United States’ first black female vice president.

Confusingly, he himself was previously vice president, which is likely what he was referring to when he said “to serve with a black president”.

The reference to the Supreme Court is Ketanji Brown-Jackson, the first black female justice, who was appointed by Biden in 2022.

‘8pm’: Biden issues bizarre list of demands

The gaffe comes as President Biden told a gathering of nearly two dozen Democratic governors at the White House on Wednesday night that he needs to get more sleep and work fewer hours — and even avoid events held after 8pm — despite indications he can only handle the rigours of the job between 10am and 4pm.

Mr Biden’s acknowledgment was reported by The New York Times, citing two people who took part in the high-stakes meeting and others who were briefed on the comment.

During the same gathering, the outlet reported, Mr Biden responded to a question from Hawaii Governor Josh Green about his health by saying while his health was fine, the problem was “just my brain”, an apparent attempt at humour that went unrecognised by at least one state leader in the room.

The President’s shocking admission about his limitations comes despite his repeated intention to continue his run for a second term following a disastrous debate performance against presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump on June 27 in Atlanta.

The President blamed his lacklustre effort on his extensive foreign travel — despite the fact that he had been in the Eastern Time Zone for 10 days prior to the debate, including a solid week of prep at Camp David.

Days after the debate, Axios reported, citing White House aides, that the President is prone to absent-minded gaffes and fatigue whenever he takes part in an event held before 10am in the morning or after 4pm in the afternoon.

Now it makes sense why he said that if you (a black person) don't vote for him you are not black

BIG UPDATE, LMAO

Radio host who interviewed Biden says aides provided questions in advance

Joe Biden’s team provided a list of questions to a radio host who interviewed the president this week in the aftermath of his debate performance, the host told CNN.

“The questions were sent to me for approval. I approved them,” Andrea Lawful-Sanders, host of “The Source” in Philadelphia, said during an interview Saturday with CNN’s Victor Blackwell on “First of All.”

When Blackwell asked Lawful-Sanders whether the White House sent her questions for approval, she said yes. “I got several questions, eight of them, and the four that were chosen were the ones that I approved,” she added.

CNN reporting later clarified that it was the Biden campaign that handled the interview.

Blackwell pointed out that both Lawful-Sanders and Earl Ingram, host of “The Earl Ingram Show” in Milwaukee who also interviewed the president this week, asked Biden “essentially the same questions.”

A Biden campaign spokesperson on Saturday did not deny that the campaign provided questions but said that “We do not condition interviews on acceptance of these questions.”

“It’s not at all an uncommon practice for interviewees to share topics they would prefer. These questions were relevant to the news of the day – the president was asked about this debate performance as well as what he’d delivered for black Americans,” spokesperson Lauren Hitt said in a statement.

The Biden campaign said later Saturday it will no longer suggest questions to interviewers.

“While interview hosts have always been free to ask whatever questions they please, moving forward we will refrain from offering suggested questions,” a source familiar with the Biden booking operation told CNN.

The radio interviews came at a critical moment for Biden’s political future as a growing number of elected officials, Democratic donors and supporters express deep concerns about his age and capacity to serve a second term as president.

Biden on Friday also took questions from pool reporters and sat with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos for a 22-minute interview focused entirely on his age and fitness for office. He will again field questions from reporters during the NATO summit in Washington next week.

Biden, who has faced enormous scrutiny this week, made some stumbles during his conversation with Lawful-Sanders.

“I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president – first Black woman – to serve with a Black president, proud to have been involved with the first Black woman on the Supreme Court,” he said during the interview, which taped Wednesday and aired Thursday.

Reached for comment Thursday night, a Biden campaign spokesperson slammed the “absurdity” of criticism of the president’s missteps. “It was clear what President Biden meant when he was talking about his historic record including a record number of appointments to the federal bench,” spokesperson Ammar Moussa said.

Lawful-Sanders’ remarks came after a Biden campaign social media account on Monday shared video of a local news anchor in Virginia saying Donald Trump’s campaign backed out of an interview after asking for questions in advance. The interview was scheduled to take place around the former president’s rally in Chesapeake, Virginia, the day after the debate.

“We wanted to hear more from Trump tonight. Our Mike Gooding was scheduled to interview the former president after the rally,” WVEC anchor Dan Kennedy said. “But just about 15 minutes ago the Trump team canceled on Mike Gooding after asking us what our questions would be for the former president, telling Mike that there was no more time and that the former president only wanted to talk about last night’s debate.”

In a social media post sharing the video, the Biden campaign derided Trump for backing out of the interview, writing, “A paranoid and overwhelmed Trump cancels his TV interview after asking the reporter what questions they planned on asking.”

When asked by CNN on Saturday whether Trump backed out of the interview, the former president’s campaign ignored the claim and instead slammed Biden for allegedly providing questions to interviewers in advance.

“President Trump held a rally in Virginia and afterwards participated in local interviews that spanned numerous topics, not just related to the debate,” campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung said. “Meanwhile, Joe Biden and his campaign are bullying media into asking pre-screened and approved questions and trying to pass it off like it’s normal behavior. It’s not.”

Hey, it's CURRENT YEAR, you BIGOTS! The President can identify however he wants, and he's totally heckin' valid, you CHUDS!

@The Mass Shooter Ron Soye When the DNC's direct propaganda arm flat out admits that Biden is a geriatric blithering idiot who can't go 5 minutes without embarrassing himself, it's unironically Joever. Holy shit, usually when Biden gaffes like this and you do a Google search of it, the results are almost exclusively FOX News, NY Post, and Newsmax milking it -- whilst MSNBC, USA Today, and CNN do damage control by spinning it as, "Racist right wing media tries to falsely accuse the president of fumbling during an interview. According to fact-checkers, here's why they're wrong..." Hell, remember just a few weeks ago when this old fuck was acting senile and retarded at a rally, and the mainstream media was doing damage control out the ass by "debunking" it as deefakes or doctored footage?

As the faggots of Reddit would say, "Big oof".

Gave him a cheat sheet and he still failed the test.... that's simply amazing.
And here I was thinking he was going to play 2D chess and every question from the radio host was going to bring up a little cheat sheet of talking points.

"I'm really glad you asked me about xxxx. You see, my opponent and I differ on the following three points..."

But he couldn't even do that.

We're so fucked.

If they dropped Biden(let him do another debate) their new strategy would be to point out that their new candidate didn't participate in the debates and if she did she would have won, she would have won so hard - repeated endlessly by talking heads. They can just make up shit from whole cloth about what Kamala would have said and how it would have stumped the Trump.

Biden thinks he's fine because he's too far gone to know better. His family and close advisers are addicted to the power and privilege of his position, so they won't step in. The DNC knows they're fucked because Joe is basically locked in and too prideful & stubborn to quit without an ugly fight. So they went with the hail mary of trotting him out for some softball interviews during his more lucid hours. And he called himself a black woman.

:story:

Very much this. They really are that overconfident, they thought they could get away with gaslighting and censoring indefinitely. I remember Biden in an interview a while back where he said he considers it his mission to stop Trump. He said he has to defeat Trump, one last time. He's not quitting and the dems have put everything behind him.

I've been seeing more and more posts online saying that they knew Biden would stuff the debate up and this is all deliberate. Those sort of posts that imply everything is planned out to perfection and all your life is on rails like a rollercoaster and you should just accept that the people up top are far smarter and have somehow planned out every tiny thing perfectly. It smells of desperation because it's completely contrary to reality.

I can still remember when anything negative about Biden's cognitive state was stated to be Russian propaganda or right-wing conspiracy nonsense. Now suddenly everyone has seen it right in front of their eyes and it's impossible to ignore. They're screwed, because they've lied for so long, people are going to ask. What else have they been lying about?

“They” are no longer unified in anything regarding Biden. Certain factions (notably the media - or at the very least CNN) want him gone, others would have liked to keep him but are finding that charade harder and harder to keep up, and of course Biden himself (specifically his inner circle) are dead set on staying in.

I think Pelosi/Chuck faction of DNC want to keep Biden on life support until he wins the presidency. After all, Biden doesn't make any decisions anyways. Everyone knows that. The conglomerate and possibly corporate wing want a new bloodline to change the leadership for a decisive left turn.

Who knows... I wish Congress and Senate would get nuked and turn into American Reich but that's too sensible for america.

If the TV media was smart and actually cared about viewers, they'd want this bumbling old fuck gaffing every other day in public. They'd have viewers tuning in to see what the senile old shit did today, and the news anchors could put on their best TV sad faces and act concerned. They could even subtly make fun of him and viewers would play along with the "oh no, poor old Biden!" routine.

As for the House and Senate Democrats - they're fucked if Biden stays on the ticket. It will kill fundraising for the whole party. Depressed voter turnout will kill the "swing seat" democrat Reps, and put many of the "safe seat" Reps into swing elections they haven't prepared for.

How is this all coming to a head now?
Not once in the last 4 years did anyone think to assess or check his cognitive function? Is the media just Finally reporting this so that we all get used to the idea he won’t make it to the election or?
The geniuses at the DNC didn't bother to WebMD search the rate at which dementia progresses and thought they'd have a puppet they could manipulate for 8 years.

Oh really? Everyone is fracturing now? Very interesting.

I think they knew, or at least anyone important enough to be making any kind of decisions knew. However they probably expected it not to matter because Trump would be in jail or the party would have abandoned him and created the same fractured chaotic mess for Republicans that they're starting to face now. Maybe they hoped that Biden could hold out a bit longer or that something else would be grabbing all of the headlines and keeping the attention off of Joe.

Unfortunately for them, so many of their courtroom crusades against Trump turned out to be shit shows in their own right. What little of it didn't blow up in their faces directly wound up looking so forced or outright corrupt that it actually made Trump's poll numbers go up. Even that is ultimately futile in light of the recent Supreme Court rulings because they were in far too much of a hurry to get a verdict in during the run-up to the election that they did a lot of sloppy legal work.

If this had all happened last year it would be fixable, but with only four months to go, there's very little that they can reasonably hope to accomplish and no guarantee that their attempts don't wind up making an even bigger mess. It might take a few decades for them to come out, but there will be a lot of books written about the behind-the-scenes of this election.

There was no contingency for this. They didn't think they'd need one.
They knew they had a problem going back to 2020. They just chose to ignore it.

One interesting thing to note. The media keeps praying for Michelle Obama to run. But nobody ever suggests "Dr" Jill. Who seems to have her claws firmly embedded in white house power. It's obvious the highest levels of the Dems loathe her.
