you can say they didn't do the most amazing job of it or Three Houses Dynasty Warriors did a bad job (dunno, haven't played it yet),
Warriors had about 8 unique maps, 9 if you count the port city that's associated with the Alliance. It's just that leaves you with you with around 6 maps for everything else. Which isn't necessarily exciting when you're replaying on a different route.

but I think it's disingenuous to say that 3H didn't take itself seriously.
I was specifically talking about the library at the monastery. I was expecting a little bit more than a set of travel brochures and a really short history lesson. I was expecting something that'll at least be useful. Like, poking a bit at the gameplay mechanics that wasn't just the Crests. But 3 Copes kind of did it worse with the lore snippets. Yes, the story about an Imperial mathematician quickly gaining the respect of the Alliance archers that he was assigned tp is cool. But it just felt awfully convenient to be receiving an piece of.an letter that was written several years ago.

But on second thought, there's a lot of stuff that 3 Houses did that just felt kind of questionable. But it's mainly just the three leaders indirectly showcasing how incompetent everyone else is.

The main game was actually way more fun than what I remembered, besides the desert maps that turns your units into human-sized snails on Celica's side, I had a pretty wonderful experience from start to finish. Also still the best voicework a FE game has till this day.

My playthrough wasn't anything special however, I wanted to do some funny shenanigans at the start, but then I got bored pretty quickly in trying to make Forsyth and Lukas viable units, so I just said "screw it" and brought 4 Killer Bows with me.

HUNTER'S VOLLEY ADDICT.png

And thank the heavens I did that, the post-game would probably take me another 10 hours without it. The amount of stats (specially HP) the latter goons can have is straight-up ridiculous at times.

Not to say I didn't do some grinding, got to Village Cycle my Saber once and he ended up having WAY more Def than most of his other stats (besides Spd). He was basically my "get out of jail" free card whenever I didn't want to deal with the later fights.

Canon Saber.png

Only took me around 20-30 mins too, so it wasn't anything bad.

Speaking of high DEF monsters, one special exception of my playthrough is that I had an incredibly blessed Mae, like, she had 5 more def than average, so I thought of giving her all the DEF stat boosts whenever possible, and man:

Twintails of Steel.png

One of my funniest experiences with a FE game. I just turned my glass cannon into a pure cannon, and I couldn't been any happier!

I also made my Faye into a Cavallier instead of a Cleric this time around, and surprisingly, she did extremely well as a Tank with 8 MOV.

Great Knight Faye.png

Unlike Mae, I actually didn't give her any stat boosers, so she got to be my main tank until the Duma fight.

Kinda sucks that the end reward you get to beat Grima is a ring that boosts growth rates (I think?), but hey, just having it in my inventory for bragging rights is cool enough.

Echoes is probably one of the few times content linking games more blatantly together was added and actually made it cooler instead of fucking it up. Awakening had a little bit of that with the references to Gaiden locations, but Valentia allowing you to go to Archanea was real cool. Then seeing baby Grima and expanding the lore a bit really edified both Echoes and Awakening.

It's a shame goytendo seems dead set on only giving us "horse pussy" Lyn, and Fortune's Sheboon's Weave.

Someone leaked 2 pages of Fortune's Weave's art book. It's basically a model sheet for 2 different classes and it's unimpressive, all things considered. At least the Brawler/Grappler got an meaningful rename out of it.

It’s those fucking Chinese man
You remember when Engage was leaked exactly the same way, I remember people had their doubts it’s fake because the “Coolgate” design was so absurd … few weeks later and it was the real deal after all.
The moment Nintendo buddied up with CHHYNA since that 2019 celebration or whatever, their shit kept leaking every time ever since.

The only exception as far as I remember was Sakurai’s Super Smash. The dude had already recorded Byleth’s reveal months in advance yet not a single leak got out. He secured his team 100% and didn’t allow a single outsider in.

Brawler class was my favorite class in Three Houses. I was so sad when they fucked it up in Engage

Pro tip for those who didn’t beat it: get as much Dread Fighters as possible then abuse the living shit out of their loops to end up with an army of Grim Reapers. The downside is this class is locked to male unfortunately - maybe there is one exception and it is a DLC character that flatout insults you when you disagree her request-.
Also a Rescue user is highly recommended to pull Alm out of Grima‘s wrath. Yes I did get a gameover right there

I wasn't really that big of a fan of half the classes in 3H, tbh. But most of it was an aesthetic issue, except for how 2 or 3 of the endgame classes were a bit of an downgrade. But Brawlers and their promotions were alright. I think that they've might overdone with the Grappler's design, though. Although, with Engage, I think that they were intentionally gimped because nearly every class who had that as an option was an backline unit.

At any rate, there's also an female version of the Pugilist for some reason. Probably to prevent shit like this from happening, or that too many people have bitched about the profession being gender-locked

I've made my positions on fisticuffs in general and brawlers/grapplers in particularly already known (they're gay), and the aesthetics were a part of it for me. Seeing a pretty consistent aesthetic of late medieval armor and styles in all the other classes and then the grappler just showing up in bdsm gear or the war master strutting around in gladiatorial antiques just breaks it for me.

Yeah, but for me, it's mainly how the stand-in for full plate armor just looks like a sheet of polished plastic. And both the Brawlers and the Grapplers are just giving off some excessive gay vibes to me, especially if it's one of my guys running around with all that shit hanging off of them.

But hey, Fire Emblem: Roman Supremacy might just double down on it and give everyone a crest of hair or feathers to go along with their helmets

I'm baffled that anyone was looking at warfare in the ancient or medieval world, and seriously asked themselves, "Why don't more of them fist fight?"

Because any weapon is infinitely better you dozy cunts.

Like at least when the Faceless tried to beat you to death, you could kind of explain it away that they're mindless monsters who are presumably significantly stronger than the average human. There was actually a line in Charlotte and Xander's A-Support in Fates, that I remember reading and thought made Xander sound like a moron.

Xander: I am surprised, though... I saw you defeat a Faceless with only your fists.
Charlotte: I...well... *sigh* Unarmed brawling is probably one of my best skills.
Xander: If that's true, why do you fight with a weapon?

Humans have found out that weapon gives you more reach, and better options for killing people, especially people wearing plate armor. If you're going up against a guy like this:
FE10_Gatrie_Artwork-2800130134 - Copy.png
All that punching is going to do, is break your knuckles.

The only exception that made some sense to me was in RD, they gave staff users the ability to fight with their staves, but the thing was, they sucked, but it made sense as a last resort type of move. Whereas, for a class like the War Master, they're opting out of using a perfectly serviceable axe so that they can fist fight for the memes or something I guess.

Because it's entertaining to watch an retard trying to punch the shit out of someone who's built to handle that shit.

But concentrating all of that strength into the smaller surface area of an blade is actually an force multiplier. It's just that hardly anyone was aware of the exact mathematics behind it.

Plus, half of the decent gauntlets are just a set of claws. Which are fantastic for fucking up anyone who isn't waddling around in a oversized suit of armor...But just punching with them is also another retard moment.

To be fair, Lehran did say he was proof the world couldn't end soon enough.
Even better, Lehran's first line sounds almost cordial, before Oliver starts talking, which leads Lehran to assume that Oliver's presence is a sign that reality is coming undone and that divine wrath is obviously on the table.

Lehran: Duke of Tanas, imagine seeing you here!
Oliver: Lord Sephiran, as lovely as always. But has it come to this? Must we fight to the death, and deprive the world of one of our beautiful countenances? Can other lovers of beauty endure such a loss?
Lehran: I confess that your presence has me bewildered. Could this be part of Yune's plan? I simply never would have imagined you here. Your presence proves that Tellius is unraveling at the seams. Judgment cannot come soon enough.

Oliver was by far one of the funniest characters in FE. From leaving his boss tile to recruit himself, to Ike asking him to please rejoin the enemy, or the queen of the wolves questioning if he's a special rotund sub-species of the beorc, or having a positive rapport with fucking Shinnon of all people. I cannot imagine what lunatic thought that the random mid-game boss from PoR desperately needed to come back as a recruitable unit in the sequel, but I hope they got a raise for it.

He shared an room with an cosplaying thot. They both got drunk and shared an bed. They both woke up in a mildly compromising position. So naturally, Mangs is an rapist with no criminal charges filed against him. What happened next is the usual set of drama that'll set off Jaima's PTSD.

Nowadays, he's been driving an forklift at his job instead of being terminally online because he's (mostly) moved on from it while there's this one autist who's still seething about it
I had a random thought about the drama today and decided to see if anyone kept up with said cosplaying thot. She's still a whore. Nobody has bothered to archive her content past 2025 but here's a gem.

Couldn't have happened to a better thot
Hope it was all worth it

I just started playing Three Copes for real using my bro’s NG plus file. He asked me to beat the Black Eagle route for him since he can’t stand Edelgard and I was like “why not?”
I chose to bench his high level guys such as Shez and use the BE units since they are all level 1 and start training them u…… oh shit !!!!
The enemies are level 106 and this is the prologue btw. I guess I have no choice but to use Shez who is level 84 and I think the only way to level up the others is through the level up facility
The problem? It costs gold and he barely got anything left
Is there a way or a build to farm gold?

Is there a way or a build to farm gold?
Sell off your building materials, and other shit. If his facilities are maxed out, then you're getting at least 20% more gold. And there's also an passive skill from the Assassin that gives you pocket change for killing random enemies.

But your main income is by cleaning missions and selling duplicate weapons.
