Compared to so many games now, (like gow ragnacock) which barely even have a soundtrack, I don’t see how that’s a problem.
FFTactics is some of the most Game of Thrones shit before GoT entered public awareness (yes I know the books are older, but almost no one reads fantasy novels) and for better and for worse YoshiP likes Matsuno's works as FF14 is a pretty political story in significant chunks of the story just like FFT was. FF16 is trying to be some western political fantasy drama just like FFT, if it'll succeed is an entirely different story that we can't know until it comes out.
I don’t think they would’ve gotten their Teen rating if they included blood into certain scenes. Which sucks but it’s understandable.

There's a scene in one of the trailers where I guess the main character is helping someone get on a chocobo to escape only to see the chocobo get shot in the head by someone from a distance. The blood splatters all over the person, and the guy who shoots the chocobo shows up. I could have sworn there's a scene like this in one of the game's trailer. It probably wasn't from point blank, but it was a wtf for me even though you've seen chocobos get hurt in other games like FF14's ARR trailer (the one where you see Bahamut nuke everything).

Matsuno wrote a GoT-like story with Tactics Ogre before GRRM even published ASoIaF. That said, I would not be surprised people in his staff were inspired by GoT too since you can see references in HW and XVI was greenlit during the peak of its popularity.
