Not sure what his stated plans are, but Asmon attempted A4S again on his second, casual channel last night and still couldn't beat it after a couple of hours.
Considering how he's gone straight back to 3.X MSQ this weekend, what now concerns me greatly is that he's leaving the Alexander questline unfinished and may not do the Sky Pirates Alliance Raid and Warring Triad Trial questlines either for some time as his mind gets set on Stormblood, even though they're nice stories with fun duties to show off at normal difficulty. He also still hasn't done any Hildibrand questlines.
Comparatively, I don't think Rich has done Sky Pirates and Hildibrand at all while one Warring Triad Trial and the final Alexander quest are also still incomplete. The Alexander bit bugs me greatly because he considers his task complete after the Alexander fight even though the quest he left unfinished in his Journal is the actual conclusion of the story.
Have you seen his quest list? He's done that every Extreme mode trial so far. Man just does not turn in quests for whatever retarded reason, even when he's not streaming to his main channel.
That said, I don't know how the hell he's struggling so much on A4S outside of getting bad groups. There's a point where all anybody needs to do is let him be Main Tank, and then stay in his little cuck corner doing BIG DICK, LONG DICK DAMAGE, HE DON'T GET GOT
DOOOOOD, while the rest of the party deals with the mechanics, which seems to be more or less how A4S is supposed to be done in the first place, but that clearly isn't happening, mostly because his party of supposed veterans who've been carrying him up until now doesn't seem to know the mechanics for a lot of these fights themselves either. I don't know why we keep placing the blame solely on the one idiot for not doing raidtranny optimal rotations when he has the least responsibility in that particular fight.
I could have sworn he was getting burnt out on Necromancer progression because he wasn't very good at using RDM and he died on floor 160ish, now he wants to try MCH which from what I understand is stronger if you can kite well but if you can't the survival checks are rough because you can't spam vercure. Considering Asmon from what I heard thought RDM's melee combo sucked and did no damage, him playing Mch will be funny if he can't figure out how to use Overcharge or Wildfire correctly.
Fucking what?
I just started leveling a Red Mage in POTD and the melee combo does fucking ridiculous damage. Did he just not learn how to balance his black and white mana gauges? Or any of RDM's mechanics? Does he even cycle Fleche and Contre Sixte? Or use Embolden ever?
Granted, I was also lost on how I should be doing things as well for the first set of Job quests, until I realized I was being dumb and looked up a guide just for my retarded ass to be explicitly told how Doublecast procs and what the rotation SHOULD be at 50 for the most part. 3 hours in POTD feels like it's gotten me decently comfortable in playing the class now, though the only frustration comes in the fact that other people damage very hard as well and it fucks up my Doublecast/Verfire/Verstone procs when I lose things to hit and have to sprint through more than 1 room. Even more so when the fuckers casually trigger blatantly revealed bomb or silence/pacify traps.
Holy shit, is this bald bitch ever going to get to playing the game already or is he being a pussy about showing people his big Necromancer attempt? I'm getting tired of tabbing in to see he's STILL talking over other people's videos instead of playing the fucking game already almost 2 hours into his stream.
