Glad the wow raiders are getting fucking filtered by content that actually requires you to think.

It's funny because at some point, Naguura even observes to herself/her chat that she thinks it would be best from now on to research a fight before going into it.Not really hard to watch a, at the most, 15 minute video guide on some of these raids and ex trials while Mizzteq explains mechanics in a clear and concise way with plenty of dad jokes. I find her videos very helpful and enjoyable.
I love it. My static and all the high end players I know think it's hilarious. It's like watching a child acting like an astronaut. You know it's never gonna happen for real, but it's cute to watch them pretend. It's funny because at some point, Naguura even observes to herself/her chat that she thinks it would be best from now on to research a fight before going into it.
Of course she doesn't tell the rest of the raid this either, considering they wanted to be "go hard, big dick, big blind" challengers of XIV's raid scene so badly.

From Naguura's stream, I timestamped the moment they seemed to have entered the fight for the first time for ease of watching from there. They run the fight for about 4 hours total before everyone breaks group and Nagu does other things.
I have very little confidence that they'll break their conditioning when they keep going back to WoW in their downtime, as some of Nagu's previous stream thumbnails seem to indicate, but we'll see.
>tfw a group of Crystal pubs did better at Titania EX than these clownsNobody seems to care all that much what they're up to, but I watched a bit of that stream myself earlier this morning and it's a pretty entertaining shitshow.
3+ hours and people still didn't understand how to break a 2-man tether.
3+ hours and people still slipped on spreading for individual AOE markers.
3+ hours and the tanks still weren't doing add phase correctly (i.e., they were holding the wrong adds every time by the look of things).
I remember at one point before their second reset, they doublestacked a soak marker on the last phase and proceeded to spend 10+ minutes discussing what went wrong. I could've sworn they said they had a XIV raid expert with them to help guide them along, and even that idiot couldn't explain why the hell the floor caught on fire after the doublestack and wiped everyone who was left standing.
3+ hours and people like Naguura only BARELY started to understand that "get close" mechanics means you have to get WITHIN the boss' model/targeting ring and not just stay within melee range of the boss.
3+ hours and people were still entirely depending on someone else's callouts before doing mechanics rather than making any attempt whatsoever to adjust for mechanics on their own. (Do WoW raiders seriously lack basic pattern recognition? Like, are they actually not able to do anything without big raid warnings or someone telling them exactly what to do and when to do it?)
Naguura was probably the closest to understanding how the stack markers went out, but I noticed that she also never told the rest of the raid – she was just speaking to herself and her chat.
They all would've had to. Skips only go to 70 and Titania normal is required story content.Did Naguura did the regular Titania trial before?
if she isn't, well she needs to learn it because 3 hours for not figuring out that chain = go far away ASAP is very painful to watch
I believe Shadowbringers normal trials have started to implement an enrage timer as well. It's just very generous and you should almost never hit it unless your party is a total sped.Tbh, there's not a lot of dps checks in the game barring extreme trials, ultimates and savages. Everything else doesn't care about dps, you can take as long as you want granted you're able to do it within the time the duty gives you.
I will say though as an experienced extreme pugger, almost all extremes have a hard enrage at around the 11 minute mark. If you can't kill the boss before then, it's a wipe. So you can't just flail your way through and get carried because more often than not, if you're not pulling your weight, you're dragging the rest of the party down and you're preventing a clear from actually happening if you don't improve. It's very much a case of, if you're a weak link, then everyone will feel it and no matter how many times you do the fight, you're gonna never clear or maybe squeeze one in out of pure luck and either the party will run out of time and disband, or it'll disband instantly after that sloppy clear. In japan, they are even more cut throat. If they sense you're holding everyone back, they'll just boot you without a word and replace you with someone who isn't a retard.
In all the vids I recorded of the Shadowbringers extreme fights, I shit you not, there were 1-2 deaths in every single one of them. Every. Single. One. And all those pug groups were formed of people who had previously cleared or farmed to some degree. On one had doing extremes in pugs can be fun, even relaxing at times when I just zone out and there will be days where I can get as many as 10 clears in, but some days you'll get party after party of pepegas and you'd have spent your entire day having your time wasted by people who are really bad at the game.
Man extremes have really fucked my head, I could write a book about it's horrors.

Bro a party of incompetent skippers sprouts can still hit Titania Normal enrage to this dayI believe Shadowbringers normal trials have started to implement an enrage timer as well. It's just very generous and you should almost never hit it unless your party is a total sped.
Yes I hit Titania Normal enrage a few times during 5.0, why do you ask?
I looked at the comments for that video. Instant cringe in a cup. One commenter says that these people are making art. It's just emotes in a video game.https://youtube.com/watch?v=cBWrx1yd8mo
This has to be the most embarrassing thing to watch.
In other news apparently the Bibo+ mod, a mod on the FFXIV archive, is a stolen asset from a website that sells and distributes assets:
Betting people are mad about the Cruise Chaser mount. My feed has been full of that for 2 days. Can't say I care much about a mount being in the cash shop.So Null is not the only one facing DDoS hell

but MUH DEEEPS, you don't wanna parse like a scrub, do you?A lot of people seem to be entering old trials and raids worried about DPS checks.
it really depends, you can still wipe on stuff you have on farm because too many people were halfassing it, distracted or just doing dumb shit. happens. then you start over and it's usually smooth sailing from that point onward.Tbh, there's not a lot of dps checks in the game barring extreme trials, ultimates and savages. Everything else doesn't care about dps, you can take as long as you want granted you're able to do it within the time the duty gives you.

You can only make up so much for other people's low DPS in XIV in my experience. As in, you hit a point where your weakest member needs to AT LEAST be pulling average or as close to average as possible numbers or else you won't be clearing the fight.personally it's also one reason I don't get triggered as hard by low dps as other people. every fight has more or less hard number you have to hit, I don't care if the boss dies 20 seconds faster, so even if you have someone "holding the group back", if on average someone else can make up for that dps (which is usually the case, be it better gear, class etc.) the outcome will be the same. add the approach form above where people will inevitably get better over time given the right conditions and even progress raids become a lot less stressful, bonus it filters out the sweaties that only think in numbers above all else.
Yes, one who doesn't cleave multiple people or fight over aggro like a sped. If I'm tanking and someone wants to fight over it, go ahead. I'll kick my feet up, it's no skin off my nose. Though I'll admit it is super irritating when a tank that is smooth-brained grabs aggro then proceeds to eat every single mechanic.. but hey. They gotta learn somehow, eventually they'll realize why they're licking the floor tiles. Is there anything more satisfying than a retarded insecure tank that spams provoke and gets half the raid cleaved who then turns the stance off and is dead silent for the rest of an alliance raid? It's the little things.
