Streaming has and will always be less about the skill of the guy playing and more about the personality around them and seeing someone you like experience something you might like.

I swear I’m looking through a lot of Viera creations and a lot of them look like some uncanny in between male and female. Yet there’s a lot of women gushing over them on twitter and discord right now. I’m not a women so maybe I just don’t know, but what’s the appeal of these guys? Not being disparaging when I ask this, I’m just curious.

One thing that’s kind of creepy is how the ffxiv subreddit saw the height of the male Viera and supposedly they’re shorter than females and a lot of people are creating them at minimum height. On top of that some of the faces make them look like teenagers and that’s causing the ladies and homosexuals to moisten their panties apparently. Whatever floats their boat I guess?
Still is creepy as all fuck, more than enough to start a purge and gas these degenerate fucks along with the Lalas. On second note, unless they actually fix Vieras where they can have more hairstyles (including the paid hairstyles) and be able to wear more than 3 types of headgear without disappearing, I'm not interested in the new fuckbois or going back to Fem Vieras.

I personally wanted to see them look more "scary" or threatening like the male night elves from WoW or the bosmer from Elder Scrolls because the lore states they are savage commandos who stalk the woods and kill literally anything that moves within their territory. These on the other hand look way too civilized and endearing and they're as threatening as a newborn kitten. As for the creator itself, it's hard to make one that looks 'masculine' at all and I think face 2 is by far the most uncanny of the faces to the point where it legitimately unsettled me when I saw it.
But it's what the fanbase wanted, so I guess we're the minority opinion

tbh I'm not sure how representative the Steam chart is of the FF actual playerbase.
I don't know anyone in my FC who uses the Steam client, and neither does any of the folks in my friend circle who does play FFXIV or started playing. It's entirely possible that a large portion of Asmonmeme's own breathing retards are Steamfags who can't imagine playing a game without Steam. Still, that is quite impressive.
