Him and Pyromancer (whose over the top soyboying on plot details in MSQ are insufferable) can fuck right off. I don't mind content creators who don't sound like autistic speds (but are autistic speds, much like myself) and have like a thimble of charisma or camera presence.

I'm stunned that such a big and established franchise like FFXIV has such utter garbage for content creation.

Tank, Dark Knight. So oof for me, but maybe it'll get better as people catch up.

I had a feeling that'd be the case, these leveling portions are either extremely long or really short as level 81 was only a couple hours while 80 felt like 6 hours to do both halves.

That bad, huh? That doesn't surprise me since everyone's currently leveling up Sages and Reapers, which make catching up on tanks if they're still around lvl 60-70.

Tank, Warrior (I'll hold judgement on Dark Knight). So yeah, oof. Like Zeke said, maybe it will get better further down line.

Another thing that strikes me as odd is yesterday when I signed in, there was a "Character Data error" too. Logged in and thought that would clear it up, but now that "Character Data Error" has come back.

I'm just barely past the first dungeon, and haven't seen any spoilers yet. Pretty early on in the underground area I was getting major "space arc" vibes as to what the forum's master plan is. Giant project, self sustaining resources, and a giant space ship on the launch page. Don't know if that's what will happen, but certainly seems that way atm.
 
Real talk, I've started and stopped this game, all with new toons, AT LEAST a dozen times dating back to the OG game at launch and have never made it to the end of the base game.

My goal is to get there by the end of winter break. I'm finally going to fucking do it.

The guy who complains about how EVERYBODY ELSE is toxic all the time. "Taliesin is so positive!" He's more toxic than most, he's just toxic with a permanent psychopathic smile on his face.

Winter break ends in early January right? So about a month. That's not... impossible, but I'd advise against it. A month of brisk playing would get you through Heavensward comfortably, but trying to catch up to the current xpac in that time would be a death march.

ARR is about 40 or hours to complete.

Up to Shadowbringers I guess around...150ish with ARR's 40ish?

Endwalker with the pace it feels like it going? Probably 210-230 hours, but I'm not even half way through right now so I'm guesstimating, I'm also going are a fairly "smell the roses" sort of pace.

I will pray for your soul if your serious, but please don't stress too much especially if you're on the free trial.
 
Badly worded on my part. Goal is to get through the main (original) story campaign by end of January.
