My friend is having a moment right now trying to finish the main quest

Why is this needed?
I have eyes and a brain to go read the notes myself. In fact I read them all this morning on my morning commute to work, I don't need some british cunt with a hard on for pretending to be a chick read them to me like I'm some babbling cavewoman.

God Meoni is annoying. A fucking pixel could change in the game and he would make an autistic video about it.

Ok I'm gonna be honest rofl, I just tossed Diabolos and Coeurl in the "good" side because I never hear much about them, haven't had any shit experiences w/ people from those servers, etc.

I play on Goblin myself, and even we have a few RP houses/LGBTQ+ FCs, but it's all very low key. I feel like every Crystal server is gonna have those, so I can't really subtract points.
It's mostly about (for me at least) how aggressively idiotic the people who play on the servers can be. And the people I've dealt with from Balmung/Mateus (and to a lesser extent, Zalera and Brynhildr) tend to be obnoxiously retarded/degenerate/both lol.

There are cool people on those "bad" servers, and disgusting morons on the "good" servers too. It's just about likelihood!
Late to the discussion, but Goblin has always been the small, comfy server both pre and post-Crystal. The Crystal split led to an initial influx of Balmung tards swooping in to snatch houses, and made Limsa more consistently lively (should see how dead it was when it was part of Aether and no DC-hopping was implemented yet). Yet after that initial wave of paste-eaters, it seemed to have returned to its tight-knit status. I often stop by even after I transferred to Malboro and it seems just as comfy as ever.

Fun fact, it's dire times on 4chan's vg forum if you're a wow player. /wowg/ has more or less been completely overtaken by ff14 fans, partially because xivg is a infested with ff14's horny and narcissistic side.

XIVG has pretty much always been ERP troons, but hearing WoWG got coopted is hilarious and I'm glad to hear it
They deserve it for how much the WoW players have been shitting up nearly every other major MMO thread on that board for years. I read it everyday soaking in the schadenfreude.

There any decent leveling class guides that aren't from Wesk Alber? Cannot stand his autistic sounding voice.
there's one in-game if you press P.

Really, unless you're doing end-game content, reading the tooltips will get you more than far enough.

Because FFXIV is made up of babbling cavewomen. Excuse me, babbling cave "women".

They had plenty of time to do it before, fuck off Wow-niggers the ship to Sharlyan is full.
Moon's also full. Catchup niggies should go back to ERPing or whatever the hell else they were doing before.

Fun thing of note: Seems like the instanced region servers have already started handling overflow because when I went to go log out in the Rising Stones, it threw me into the number two instanced server.

Endwalker's already gearing up to be an overpopulated mess on the infrastructure. I completely forgot individual, instanced areas even HAD overflow backup servers until just now.

Yeah I like Goblin. It's one of the most relaxed servers imo. It had a fast growth from one of the smallest servers to (at one time at least) one of the bigger ones mid-ShB.
I never hear anyone ever talk about it during these server discussions, and that's usually a good thing lol

If just for raw levelling other jobs:
- Always do runs of the dungeon tied to the current level until you reach the next.
- If stuck in que times as DPS, do FATEs around the area of current level to get bits of EXP in. Any activity is better than just idling.
- Some alternatives that give good EXP is Levelling Roulette daily, (Don't bother for the majority with other roulettes, EXP yield is shit and Main Scenario roulette is an alt-tabbing/AFK snorefest) and the weekly Wonder Tails from Khloe in Idyllshire. (Turning in a book with all 9 seal stamps applied gives a huge chunk of EXP, you can do old EX trials and dungeons as a lv. 80 (soon 90) maxed out job to speed up the seals stuff, just make sure you turn in the book as the alt job to receive said EXP boost.)

Sidenote: There's also Command Missions to do with your Grand Company's squadron goons provided you are a high enough rank and done other requirements to unlock them, but while they're an easy alternative for DPS players to avoid que times early on and the EXP gain per mob kill is high, it drops off harshly at some point and is really just boring solo walking through old dungeons with derpy AI that to compensate for their inability to do mechanics automatically have damage output and defense stats raised to ridiculous levels, while you are a squishy target. (Especially hell if you're tank because defensive cooldowns don't do shit and the healer AI will only heal your ass when you're below 40% HP or so).
Stick to regular dungeons/FATE grinding instead.

Hope this helps.

The XP yield from the other roulettes (especially main scenario) is at least more than half a bar in some cases, what are you on about? It's boring as shit, sure, but you get big gains off of them, even Alliance. Frontline roulette, if you can actually get in, is practically free MSQ roulette levels of fucktons of XP and you don't even have to win your Frontline matches.

Beast Tribes are also a helpful boost (provided you're doing them at relevant level/expac, so HW tribes at 50-60, SB tribes at 60-70, SHB tribe(s) at 70-80, otherwise you run into diminishing returns with them).

Eh, I'm looking more for information on rotations and getting more effective in certain jobs. Playing a healer for the first time in an MMO ever and I feel I could be doing much better. I've gotten all jobs to level 30+ aside from Thaum and Arcanist. But thanks!

E: And yeah, I typically rotate through MSQ/Raid/Frontline roulettes once a day. Don't bother with Trial or Guildhest roulettes.

That said, there's a small bonus that comes if you level one job first, then only level the rest. I think it was something like a 50% increase in battle xp which is quite minuscule imo, but still. (There are other reasons to do so, because you need the levels to unlock some of the other alternative ways to gain XP, that being Palace of the Dead, which requires you to complete MSQ iirc, and the SB version, which is Heaven-on-High. Both also serve as a good place to practice rotation because your levels there are separate from your actual level, meaning you can get a sneak peek on your job rotation without needing to put in the grind. Bozja is ShB equivalent, but you're simply locked to 80 there instead, giving you the full scope of the class right off the bat.)
