It's not just the Balance that gets heat, it's the community in general that should get heat.

There's newbies that don't know but at least try their hardest, and then there's the fucking mouth breathing retards that get killed by everything with the survivability skills of a Nat. Specially with the most obvious sign of Akh Morn (with the marker added in no less) that screams "stack here or you will fucking die" but instead run like frighten children when people are trying to stack on them. Then act offended when you comment on that instead of admitting "we've fucked up", expecting you to just cuddle them and say "good job" when you should have Shark Attack them after 5th or 6th instance of dying to something random or the 4th retard dying to a major mechanic that should have got their noggins working right then and there.

This game and it's community is finding new ways of pissing me off, I should be straight DI on every spout on a roulette and tear them a new asshole everytime.

My contrarian hot take: Compared to most MMOs I've played, I can't honestly say I find XIV's community incompetent enough to make me mad. Sure there are shitters here and there, but have you tried queuing with randos for group content in literally any other MMO lately?

Haven't tried running BDO or Mabinogi Heroes on my current new PC yet, still in that phrase of "everything that I couldn't play before on my old PC, I'm gonna marathon through everything as soon I get my new desktop" with Cyberpunk/Doom ('16 and Eternal)/RE2 Remake/etc. Plus don't wanna go crazy and blow through my storage early too.

EDIT: Also hate the Roulette at times, dropping right in the middle of instances where I've never completed once as well done little prep time on beforehand. I know getting curb stomped's a necessity, but it sucks looking stupid after being slapped around like a potato while going around like a chicken without it's head and just being hard carried while wishing you can lighten the healer's load somewhat.

I play on Tonberry and have for the last 3 years, it's been pretty chill and I'm really going to miss it if I decide to move to the Oceanic servers.

Made an alt on Faerie to mess around with some US buddies of mine and oh my god, I wanted to blow my brains out from the pure autism coming at me left right and centre in Limsa.

Hololive apparently got permission to stream XIV as part of the pre-EW hype push. RIP server-kun.

I don't mind Hololive streamers, but I don't know if I want that crazy ass fandom up in my shit (the ones that would have no interest in the game if their uwu waifus weren't playing it at least)...those guys are mental.

Mrhappy1227: In the party finder you’re supposed to be able to find content to do with other players but, at least in North America, it has become plagued with people looking to either sell content or to advertise services that are not normal in a MMO or in Final Fantasy XIV. Has the team taken notice of the use of the party finder for these kinds of actions and is there anything that the team is planning as a countermeasure to those?

Yoshida: We do find it an issue; I think it stems from the user agreement being filled with loopholes so to speak and people do exploit those loopholes. In order to avoid such a situation we are reviewing and aiming to update the user agreement and with that in-place we will start trying to enforce this.

I know some people might say “if it’s a prominent problem and the developers/operations team already know about it then why don’t you already enforce it?” and then you start penalizing these people but without strong backup which is a clearly stated user agreement it is hard to enforce. And we do face retaliation from some of the players that we try to enforce these rules upon.

So in order for us to have a stronger case to build against these people we do need to make sure our user agreement is buttoned up properly so we are making preparations to update that to address it in that way. We are hoping we can squeeze that in leading up to the launch of Endwalker so we can start enforcing that right before Endwalker’s launch.

nothing has really changed outside of PB usage - which won't likely be terribly different from how it is now, with lunar nadi obviously lending itself to the current dragon kick/bootshine alternating spam, and I guess solar nadi just being a normal three-form combo, but in any order? - all the off-GCDs are gone, form timers are longer, raptor form weaponskills lost positional requirements, a few cooldowns got adjusted and the new cooldown ability just increases your auto-attack speed, lol. a big portion of the changes just adds lower-level versions of existing high-level mechanics, which is extremely welcome, being one of those all max level spergs myself I don't deal with it often but they could really stand to spruce up how dull low-level play is

Doubtful. They wouldn't want to make it too powerful to the point that the community feels it's a required job in raids.
So they'll probably be the same as current.
