What are the films you find absolutely no flaws with and hold to the highest regard? I have a few, but at the top of my head I can think of John Carpenter's The Thing, Miller's Crossing, Batman Mask of the Phantasm, Beauty and the Beast, The Shining, Hot Fuzz, The Incredibles, Princess Mononoke and Die Hard.

Saw pulp fiction for the 1st time a few days ago. It might be that my taste is fucked by hentai and capeshit but I dont think I ever saw a movie go for 2 and a half hours and feel like an hour and fifteen.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I always forget that movie is almost 3 hours long, because it doesn't feel like it.

Fight club: Although it has a bunch of plot holes-the ending always makes up for it in my mind.

Alien 1: was a pretty sound film too, especially for a horror film at that time.

The End of Evangelion, an emotionally bittersweet ending to a great series.

"Lock, stock and two smoking barrels" - Guy Ritchie has never shot anything better since.
"12 angry men" (1957) - perfect court drama.
"Fight club" - music, aesthetic, actors - perfect set of circumstances. Never ever we will get another movie like this one.
"American psycho" - see above.
"Nice Guys" - Shane Black better stick to those, than to Iron Man or Predator.
