Even if these become Fighting game classic movies, I think the franchises are too niche to make much of an impact. They'll probably be pozzed slop though.

SNK seems to be expanding quite a bit lately. They opened a new studio, rereleased the Neo-Geo, and seem to be pumping out a bunch of merch. Historically, every time SNK tried to expand, it crashed and burned. How long before the Saudis sell the company to another Pachinko company,?, lol
 
I'm not really a Rick Strowd fan, but at least we're getting another season. I'm still hoping for either Franco Bash or, if these guys wanna go deep, bring back Michael Max or Axel Hawk. Get weird with it.

I quietly hope someone mods the game and turns Rick into Vanessa.
Bash is a favourite.
I wouldn't mind seeing Tung Fue Rue get one last outing.
Yamazaki should be here too along with at least one of the Jin brothers.

If we get more guest characters I'm hoping for,

Snake Eyes
Space Ghost
Bean Bandit
 
Man, I wish I could play fighting games against people who are not gay or black. I love anime fighters and their relentless autism.

Speaking of anime fighters, haven't kept up with anything since the betrayal that was GG: Strive, specifically after what they did to Testament. Bridget was the nail in the coffin (Though I always thought it was a degenerate shit character which I was glad got removed in Xrd). Has there been anything good since?

Between this, which is probably an ad for the next Blazblue, and Type Lumina getting a new version (eventually), anime fighters are doing pretty good.

Dead or Alive 6 LR is up, but its looking like from reviews that it might be dead on arrival. I'm not even sure if it has rollback, so outside charging again for the same game I'm not sure what it offers exactly. Doesn't inspire much confidence in DoA7. VF5 got way more support, though nobody wants to play it.

EVO is this weekend, though with how many there are now that's not exactly special.

From my understanding it's basically the old version without any major changes like rollback. And the old one was delisted. What a joke.

Maybe but it's still the most important one. Attendance seems to have taken a major hit this year probably due the cost of attending just being too high. I think BigBird tweeted something along that reasoning why he is not attending, and I would assume that applies to a lot of people.

I will still watch it, but I don't expect any major announcements.
