Very rarely can anyone ever pull off a mullet, and only old guys in suits can pull off a fedora.

(BTW rattails are the very worst)

For fedoras, it depends. I do feel sorry for the guys who don't want to be associated with the dreaded "M'lady" MRA stereotype. On the other hand, I've seen girls in their teens and 20s pull off the look well, especially in the summertime.

It's safe to say that the overall outcome depends on experimentation (i.e., what works well and what doesn't) and a good sense of style. Fads do come and go, after all.

Mullets, hands down.

Fedoras were actually fashionable at one point, and even in this day and age, people can pull off the fedora look without coming across as a MRA douchebag (it is extremely difficult and rare though)

Mullets have never been fashionable and even when they were popular in the 80's and early 90's, they were the subject of widespread mockery. At least fedoras were considered respectable at the height of their popularity in the 1950's, even if they are hated now.

^What about wearing a fedora whilst sporting a mullet?

Kind of makes the mullet look less noticeable.

Nothing in the world is worse than a mullet.

Not even bowlcuts? Those are pretty cringy.

Mullets, hands down.

Mullets have never been fashionable and even when they were popular in the 80's and early 90's, they were the subject of widespread mockery. At least fedoras were considered respectable at the height of their popularity in the 1950's, even if they are hated now.

I doubt that. Everyone and their mother had a mullet from like 1982-about 1993, and tons of pro wrestlers sported them even up until around 1996.
