Townsends is awesome. Mrs. Crocombe is interesting too as informational entertainment and the recipes seem appealing.

Does anyone know any good channels that have a similar concept but centered around the 1900's? There was so much interesting food but every time people cover those types of older recipes it's almost always in a negative or piss-taking light because of how the plates are dressed and prepped or just because it seems out there by today's standard. There are the old 50's how to's, but that's its own thing.

I don't care what you guys say Adam "Soychad" Raguesa is still a decent Youtube Cook. With that said I can promise you that no Steakhouse "seasons the cutting board, not the meat." If that video did any good it's only because it helped encourage novices to rest their steaks after cooking it.

Anyway Henry's Kitchen is a national treasure.

To me it's his need to overthink and constantly rationalize something that should be more or less entirely based in intuition and experience. "What does SCIENCE say is the best way to cook pizza?" I don't know Adam, but I'm guessing if you didn't have to read a research paper to pleasure your wife she'd have less gentleman callers.

This one no one will understand, Mietczyński
He has a series called "Ni mom pojęcia co robię", which translates to "I have no idea what I'm doing" with a Silesian accent. He aspires to go to MasterChef Poland so he attempts to cook various things to have a chance there, and many time he fucks it up. Though he's been well known for a long time, mainly due to his Masochist series where he reviews shitty Polish movies, and his summaries of school lectures where he explains them really badly using swears and slang. Overall pretty funny guy.

There's also Ludwig "Anomaly fat autist" Lagerstedt
Obviously he's super shit at cooking but his videos are fucking funny. It has that Filthy Frank-esque element to it, especially the video where he and his dad just threw Surstromming at each other and got swarmed by flies because that's how bad the stench was. Quality content, very nice.

Tasting History is a neat channel. Get to see some weird ancient recipes and a brief history lesson on the food.

Onigiri streams on Twitch, but has YouTube uploads. Found out about her after watching another streamer get traumatized by Kay.

Seonkyoung Longest is great for asian (especially korean) recipes with a lot of it being traditional/street syle food but flexible if you can't find certain ingredients. Channel kind of has boomer vibes but she's really wholesome and the recipes are really good.
This recipe is killer and a good way to get into making steamed bao without the hassle of learning dim sum folds.

I found out he was a journalism professor at Emory before he was a youtuber and that explained everything.

Also Chocolate Cacao is neat sometimes. America's test kitchen is shit to watch but is informative, and all reddit tier youtube cooking channels I hope die in a fire (Ethan, Joshua, Babyish. Adam)

I don't care what anyone says, my favourite YT chef will always be Nara Hirokazu;
Just an old-middle aged japanese guy from out in the sticks prepping fish in front of a camera. he doesn't explain shit and doesn't do anything except show the cooking process, but it's extremely comfy to watch.

In regards to Adam Ragusea, I don't mind his food vids but dear god don't ever listen to his podcast. Having just listened to the last two I can only say that the man is such a collosal faggot he make Liberace look like a chad.
