Enzo Ferrari, both in the movie Ford vs Ferrari and by extension real life I suppose. Essentially at the time Ford was a bigger company trying to buy out Ferrari because they were in dire straits financially. Yes, they used the buy out to negotiate a higher price with Fiat, but with the Ford buyout it would essentially mean Ford completely controls their entire racing division. He also said no to working with Ferruccio Lamborghini once, which caused him to start his own company.

Enzo's son Alfredo died from an illness at the age of 24 and it crushed him so bad he always wore a black suit and visited his son's grave everyday. He loved his son so much when he was born that he gave up racing because he didn't want his son to grow up with a dead father and named an entire line of Ferraris after him called the Ferrari Dino.

Today most people view Ferrari negatively because he and his company seem like the antagonist in a lot of automotive history. But I think deep down Enzo was just a guy who liked racing and built a company to basically fund his racing career. I don't really see him as a really bad guy, but rather like a grumpy old man who wants to do things his way. He happened to be the antagonist in a lot of other people's origin stories so I suppose even as the villain he inadvertently helped inspire people to create other things.

Dragon Ball has great enemies, Cell is entertaining. Nintendo has a ton of iconic villains, Bowser and Ganondorf are quite good.

I mean the first scene of the movie was the drej destroying Earth entirely, pretty high tier bad guy shit I must say

Warden Dwight McClusky (Natural Born Killers)

The asshole boss having a nuclear meltdown on the worst day of his life.

Loren Visser (Blood Simple)

The professional criminal dealing with a bunch of yokels and the only one to realize how ridiculous everything that happened in the movie was.

Milo (Pusher series)

Over the course of the series, goes from the big bad to an out-of-touch, aging gangster surrounded by younger, more brutal competition. Ultimately finds a sort of redemption but at the cost of an uncertain future for himself.

The drej are thematically on point in a way because they are CGI whilst the rest of the characters are hand-drawn. The movie came out right on the cusp of the shift to CGI animation and it's almost symbolic how they lay waste to an animated universe.
Warden Dwight McClusky (Natural Born Killers)
Now that was a fantastic performance. Such a small part in the movie but so amazing. Who the Hell even came up with a character that carries around a pair of pliers for grabbing someone by the nose? Is it on purpose? Did he just happen to have them on him? He's fucking incredible.

My own bad guy? Well this thread seems to lean towards villains we think are bad ass or cool but for me, one of the most believable and contemptible villains ever written is Professor Drumlin in Contact, with Jodie Foster. He's not some tough guy, murderer or conquering warlord. He's just an academic who is willing to flip on a dime to take credit for someone else's life's work. You can show me any number of violent badass movie antagonists but he's the sort of shit-on-your-shoe realistic scum that infests every organization and degrades everything. If the Drej are a horror from outer space and Dwight McClusky is a violent, over the top psycho, Drumlin is the invisible corrosion of Man's idealism.

Fuck Drumlin!

- Ganondorf, I really like the idea of like a conscious primordial evil which manifests every generation or so, very good writing device combined with the generational good of Link and Zelda and each version of the Dorf is very different to the others in most departments especially character/personality but just similar enough to be connected to them which is very ingenious and Im a sucker for it.
- Homelander from the comics, I mentioned this in another thread but hes just a complete pisstake troll villain, what if superman was a little 13 year old bastard with a loud mouth, endless vulgarity, terrible skills/attitude and just horny.
-Scar, Im not fond of him cause he is dictatorial even if that part is entertaining but I like him cause he is a faggot and how nuanced theyve depicted faggotry in him. Its the little stuff that matters, throwing mane backwards in be prepared like its a drag performance, be prepared itself being a drag performance, the little effeminate hand movements he does like a california gay, general emotional instability like a woman and more often like an effeminate fag, all the little emo facial movements/drama queen shit which the youtube gays find very relatable and other stuff.
-Ilsa from Ilsa She wolf of the SS and the Russian Lady from Goldeneye played by Jean Grey, very obvious why
-Angel Eyes and Hans Landa, they come under the category of best manipulative intelligent villains, very well done. Angel Eyes in fact is the cat character in the movies animal dynamic with Blondie being the dog and Tuco being the rat but I dont want to rant too much about that movie.
-Kiriyama from Battle Royale, I feel like the Takeshi Kitano characters the real villain and I like his character a lot but Kiriyama is just very cool. I have to clarify that I dont like him cause hes Japanese Edward Cullen like the teenage girl fanbase he had when Battle Royale released, I like him cause hes always one step ahead and is just ruthless and sadistic. Plus cool design.
-Superman from DKR, to be clear hes put in the position of the villain and I dont necessarily like him as a villain but I really adore the final fight and the speech given by Batman. The "I want you to remember, in your most private moments, I want you to remember the one man who beat you" gets to me and Superman is the perfect guy to give that statement to. Very cool.
-Revolver Ocelot, just absolute shitpost villain who I cant take seriously.
-Soul of Cinder, better than Ornstein and Smough overall fuck you
