"FUCKIN' HELL!"

One of the best comedies ever. Father Finton Stack is an all timer.

I like father ted so much because of how specifically Irish it is, you don't get much Irish media outside of Ireland without actively seeking it out one of my favourites is the episode where they take the piss out of sinead o'connor

It's a shame Dermot Morgan died when he did ensuring we'll never get anything father ted related again, probably for the best though if they did a revival today I doubt Graham Linehan would be involved (tbh father ted is his only work that I like the IT crowd is so fucking boring idk why its so popular)

Última edición:
DRINK DRINK DRINK DRRRRRRUINK
That cut to the Ambulance always gets me.

And the classic. "Are you a Racist now Father?"

Shame what happened to Dermot Morgen and that Graham Lineham got eventually cancelled. Dude just couldn't stay off of twitter.

chris morris was wasted on that show
Whoever made the casting decision to replace Chris Morris with Matt Berry is a genius. Absolutely not a reflection on Chris (other than the fact I concur that his full potential wasn't realised on The IT Crowd), but because the Douglas character was the perfect replacement for Denholm, and Matt nailed it.

Father Damo is also awesome. "Oasis, or Bloooooorrrrrrrrrr?"
"I'LL BE IN INA MINUTE!" always gets me, very accurate depiction of shithead pre teens

like op says I doubt Graham would have anything to do with it.
I Don't watch that much newer Irish shows but I imagine they're as toothless as the shit the bbc and channel 4 put out now, I watched the first season of kin and that was a decent enough crime thriller it's nice to see charlie cox is still getting work at least

Having seen both Father Ted and One Foot in the Grave in recent years, I appreciate the running gag from the cave episode of the former a lot more. If Dermot Morgan was still around after the show ended, he probably would have people come up to him quoting the "I hear you're a racist now, Father!," line.
