I imagine that a deal will be worked out with Marvel in a year or so, the same sort of way things went with Spider Man.

I can't grasp why studios have such a hard time figuring out that changing major things from the original stories will always result in disaster.

About Johnny Storm's casting, I think it would've been better to cast a black man as Reed Richards. In too many movies, the black guy is the comic relief and the white guy is the leader, so it would be good to subvert that. Plus, it would be hilarious to hear white supremicists bitch about Reed Richards, a black guy, being in love with Sue Storm, a white woman. "iNTersEx bReeDING is WhIte GeNOCide! boYcott foX!"

All these fox marvel movies look like trash to me. Everything about them feels cheap to me, same with sony's ASM movies.
Needless to say that I won't be watching this and believe me, I watched a lot of shitty comic book movies over the years.

I really feel like there is something.. off with them. Especially the X-Men franchise, something's been off with it since the third movie, IMO.

I've been listening to trank's interview with Kevin Smith. He seems competent and really loves film. The pacing is very indicative of studio meddling. But the problem was the studio choosing a director with a vision so far from what they were expecting. At least with ant man marvel let wright leave before any real damage was done.
