Fanmade Pokémon Designs (Fakemon) - Tracers, garbage designers, and of course, furries

Well, with the butchering redesigning of generation 1 and 2 complete, it's only natural that the 3rd generation follows suit. Everyone, meet Pokémon Reboot's reimagined Hoenn starters.

A bit odd for generation 3 to receive gen 8-style redesigns considering most people believe generation 3 already holds up pretty well, in terms of design. Not saying that the other generations don't, but I at least understand why someone would want to "modernize" Kanto and Johto. Design-wise they're more proportional and "realistic" while Galar is more cartoony.

Oh god, what have they done to you, Swampert?

I don't hate the Torchic redesign, but the first stage reminds me too much of Piplup and every stage after that puts too much emphasis on the fist when Blaziken is more known for it's kicks.

No not Torchic, why change its second form from trainee martial artist to what is pretty much bird Scrafty?

And Mudkip has lost all appeal to me, they made it too simple looking, as Wooper was always the simple axolotl to me. Treeko straight up takes from the likes of the fennekin line, with the idea of 'tail has/is the weapon'.

The Treecko line looks more like chameleon then a gecko and lest less a say about the Mudkip line the better .

They remind me of temtem or Nexomon.
...not necessarily a good thing.

Isn't the point of Mewtwo that it looks completely hairless? Like an embryo?
I think the artist just loves Eevee, to the point where just about everything he does features an Eevee or an -eon. The result is that most Pokémon he draws looks like Eevee (Fun fact: this page also contains an Eevee, in addition to Mewvee here).

Are pokefurs completely incapable of drawing any other Pokémon other than Eevee or Lucario?
So apparently the Pokétuber Lockstin is making a Fakémon game, but he can't seem to come up with designs that don't blatantly steal from real Pokémon.

That Trevenant is a regional form, you fucking mong. Of course it's going to look the same.

Ignoring that fact that these are clearly regional forms (one of them are anyway), Kinda stinks that regional Trevenant (or Shroomenant) is just its original but mushrooms.

I would have much preferred it if he or his artist went with a different, but similar, evolution entirely like Game Freak did for Confagrigus.

Admittedly I didn’t realize that those are supposed to be based on real Pokémon. I’ve just almost never seen Fakémon used like that.
