Off topic-ish: that's probably one of my biggest pet peeves in writing. Not only is a block of text an eye sore, but it makes it damn near impossible to tell who is talking. How hard is it to press enter or tab to start a new paragraph?

Nothing screams 'denying that i have a fetish' by saying someone has a _aura to them. ex: powerbottom aura, femdom aura, etc...

Just because there's going to be nothing sexual in the story doesn't mean the author doesn't have a fetish for age play, not helped the character was getting excited a pacifier came in for him. Hell, you can't say "age play" is non-sexual because it's in the fucking phrase that "age play" is meant to be a kink. And kinks are sexual preferences that can be used in foreplay. You can't not sexualize kinks.
Given how much these people love to perform mental gymnastics and twist themselves in unnatural ways, they must be secretly into BDSM, specifically sadomasochism, and probably also includes humiliation. And I thought these people come from an environment (Tumblr) where you're not supposed to kinkshame people, so they should be proud of their kinks, not try to pretend it's not a kink.

I always love it when these sorts of authors always say "oh, I just wanted to try out writing dark subjects!" and then the tags are all red flags for fetish shit.

Hey, can drama from fanfiction authors count here? I discovered this video about Msscribe, who's infamous in the Harry Potter fandom for dragging Gryffindor Tower, Sugar Quill, and Fiction Alley among others along for a wild con ride involving evangelists going to war against smutwriters (such as Cassandra Clare) and slash fans in the early-2000s. Or something like that, it's really crazy and I'm trying to wrap my head around this video that goes into great detail about what happened.
If anyone who's familiar with this can help sum this up, that'd be wonderful because my brain this is nuts.

Just... Harry Potter, man.

At least it's not as bad as A/B/O. Speaking of which, I need to screenshot this one Omegaverse fic from Jojo AO3 because dear lord it's a trainwreck and a half. I literally sat through the whole thing one night and had a great time laughing my ass off.

I remember finding out about the fic from the artist's tumblr as she had posted some art for the fanfic. While she's not a BAD artist per say, she is the type where you just look at what she draws and IMMEDIATELY know what she's in to.
Why do gay ships attract the strangest of people?
Minor quibble, but I would love to see it where someone just takes apart the whole Omegaverse and portrays it as the creepy fetish bait the AU is.

I remember a podcast I sometimes listen to describing it as a "fetish buffet." I remember one fic where the (human in canon) characters were actual furries. With paws and everything.

Any fanfic that involves real people being subjected to fetishes and ships by horny fangirls immediately get a huge nope from me. It's bad enough when it's fictional characters being used to play out degenerate erotic fantasies, but bringing actual human beings into it? Yeah, there's something wrong with you if you do this.
