At first I thought Sonichu might get pissed that Spunky basically bitch-slapped him son. Then I considered that one look at his 'tomgirl' son would really get under his skin. When he finds out that Robbie was raised by 'Uncle' Blake those little gears in his brain are going to assume that it's Blake's fault his sons some dang dirty homo.
 
What is this madness, updating a page on time?!

So yeah, I wanted to challenge myself tonight. Usually, putting together a page would take me about 6-7 hours to complete, a lot of it just me second guessing myself and trying to re-edit dialogue and entire scenes on the fly. This time I just ran with it - and got a page done in just slightly under four hours. not a perfect page mind you, but I think it turned out better than I was fearing it would...

Fun fact. While I was on vacay, I did a lot of extensive reading old Marvel comics from the 90s, specifically stuff from Liefeld's X-Force. While I'm not going to say I'm quite on the level of excellence that he had achieved, I think I am begining to understand the power he wields.... and that is a terrible thing.

I'm still flip-flopping on how exactly the first face to face conversation between those two will be, but I can tell you it is going to be happening pretty dang soon. I got two more pages to wrap up hopefully this week and then it'll be time. For now though, hope you enjoy this page and the upcoming two.

Why is Silvana trying to hide, though? She's still on good terms with Magichan and the others right?
 
Love the comic as always, Sir _blank_. And oddly enough, no sexual connotations to take here, but Spunky kind of pulls off that glasses look real well.
 
Ahh logic. Seriously, if you are going to transform into someone else even though you have a PSYCHIC next to you he's going to find out that you're a fake.

Hi, Silvana! Interesting choice of disguises.

EDIT: And now that I've read the second page, she as either trying way too hard or knew Magi-chan would know it was her regardless and just wanted to fuck with him.
 
In regards to Silvana, I actually ran through a couple of scenarios on how to actually get her to the door...

-Have Silvana knock out Brit-Tay and impersonate her. However, that would place Brit-tay away from the rest of the storyline and would make Silvana be more aggressive than I want her to.
-Have Silvana use Brit-Tay as a hostage to get her way in. Again, too violent.
-Have Silvana go full-bore kung fu. Again, too violent and we already have another fight going on.

Then as some people mentioned, Silvana is still on friednly terms with Magi-Chan at least. I considered her just popping in and joining up with Spunky and Co., but that would conflict with why she was hiding out in the shadows a few pages ago instead of just walking in on them. Plus, I tried to infer with her dialogue with Wild that she isn't 100% behind Sonichu and would be a bit wary, especially if he's allying himself with people like Spunky whom she doesn't yet know. She would know a disguise wouldn't fool Magi-Chan, but it might be enough to at least get to, and maybe through, the front door without being shot.

So yeah, convoluted logic at its best.

Anyway, apologies for not getting this page on yesterday. Had an especially long day with having to fix a computer at 5am, followed by a film shoot in rainy weather for 6 hours. Still, hope y'all enjoy.

Oh my god, Magi-chan is such a fucking awkward dork, I love it.
 
"Do I have time to change?" Magichan you dork, you wear the same outfit every day, do you even own clothes other than that vest?

I like the effect of Silvana's disguise melting away by the way, it's very interesting.
