Yeah, I should be commenting here more often, huh?

Really love it and all of the funny things, but there are a lot of ideas that come up whenever I read it that I don't want to share because I'd be altering the final product and that wouldn't be good.

It may not be perfect, but it's good enough that I don't care.

Not losing interest at all, just really, really lazy when it comes to commenting. That, and the dang, dirty Loveshies have been taking up all of my time.

Sorry I don't comment as often, been real busy with the Sluthaters.
Absolutely adore your comic, look forward to updates whenever they come out. Your art style is awesome, the characters are great, the story is genius, it's the comic form of heroin

Also, I wanted to request something of my readers. I've been noticing what has seemed to be a slow decline in interest in the comic - nothing huge, but apparent. So, while I'm not going to do a Dobson and demand praise my talents or anything, I really would appreciate some input. I'm not a person who is afraid of some criticism and would like to know what the fans are liking and not liking. I want to be making something people enjoy and not just myself patting myself on the back and going, "Boy, what a silly boy I am!"

Honestly? I feel like you've overextended yourself with the multiple plotlines at least from my perspective. It kept bouncing all over the place to the point where it's been, like, three months or so before we even got back to the main story and then we're already back to the sideplots. Also factoring in are the increasing amount of characters getting put in. The only characters I feel have been developed well are Sonichu, Rosechu, and Spunky (Magi-Chan is around there but keeps getting lost to me). Everyone else has had limited panel time or are kind of two dimensional. Heck, I completely forgot about Wild until the newest page.

I guess it seems like the comic is lacking focus but that's just my opinion. It's still a very fun read but I want the story to start moving forward.

I feel I have to agree with this.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying the comic, @_blank_ , but it does feel like too much is going on at once. Personally, I feel that the backstory with Spunky and Rosechu should've been held off at least until we had gotten done with more of what's going on right now. In my opinion, things need to slow down a bit for the time being so we can focus on the main story a bit more before we start getting into fleshing out these characters with backstory and answering questions. Nothing wrong with subplots and such, but I agree the story needs to move forward some more. We've been away from it a bit too long.

My problem is I'm super busy. When I check back it's sometimes been since a few pages. Like @Francis York Morgan said, I feel you've made it a bit hard to follow with the multiple plotlines. I think that if you released a book at a time it would read better since all the pages would be there. By the time you come around back to a plotline I sometimes forget who is who. Like honestly I have no idea who it was that brought CWC in. I'd have to read back to jog my memory.

That said, I'm planning on re-reading from the start here soon so I can get back into things. I think you are a brilliant writer and I can't wait to see how all these plotlines come together. So yeah, don't ever change.

Reading all the available pages in one go does help a lot in following the plot lines. Also, some characters wear distinctly different clothes according to when a given plot line takes place, which is also pretty helpful ("Oh, Chris is wearing his classic shirt, this part must be taking place before the Rosechu incident"). Maybe a text panel indicating the time jumps would be neat, but personally I'm okay with how things are going right now.

As for the TRS in general, I love how heavy it got with the Spunky\Rosechu\Sonichu back story. Spunky is as badass as she is relatable without hogging up all the attention from the other characters. Furthermore, _BLANK_ does a great job with gradually revealing what a scumbag Sonichu is as well as not making him your typical moustache twirling villain (after all, he was corrupted by OPL... whom he corrupted right back later). I am curious whether the prodigy son still has a chance to redeem himself, but I'd be fine with him getiing some BMP-style comeuppance as well.

Oh, and in hindsight, I can see (and welcome) the little hints of Black Lagoon here and there. That being said, I hope you're not planning on going all Hansel and Gretel on Zapina. I mean, it'd be awesome, and the episodes about the Ruinous Romanian Rascals were my favorite part of the show, but it as also easily one of the most depressing parts as well.

PS, are we going to have some more Punchy goodness? Don't get me wrong, Wild and Baggett are hilarious, but who can compete with heartfelt lines such as "Punchy's a motherfuckin' comet of fists!" or "Why don't you put me down so I can punch ya in the dick proper?!"

Not bored or disinterested here ether - just busy. I also didn't feel I had anything worthwhile to contribute to the conversation.

After reading the first installment, I continued straight through until I finished the thread. You've done an amazing job: the story is engaging, the characters are well developed, complex, and interesting, and the artwork is superb.

I love freak weather days like today. My personal internet is fucked up due to freezing rain wrecking everything around here today. So, I'm sitting in my office at work to get this uploaded, because y'all are worth it. Thanks to everyone leaving a comment, it honestly helps a ton keep my morale up and also helps me gauge what is working, and what isn't.

First, the latest page... @ShittyRecolor was just mentioning Punchy too. Good guess.

I think this may be the first time I've actually attempted at drawing a baby. So apologies if looks more like Mini Bob Hoskins.

And now... the mailbag!

Still part of the True and Honest fanbase here

So... does this mean Angelica stripped off her clothes like some sort of reverse Superman between this scene and now?
http://s1329.photobucket.com/user/CWC_blank_/media/TRS_01-14-color_zps1acf9b89.jpg.html
Kinda sorta. I alluded a few pages back with Sonichu stating that they're all animals, and wearing clothes is something the 'Chus do just to be more acceptable to humans. I figure Angelica shedding her garbs would be a subtle way that she coming to Sonichu and Chris, as "pure."

I often feel I cannot level criticism. This is not in the "you can do no wrong" sense, but more out of "My English is terrible and I'm afraid my intentions won't be communicated clearly" sense.

In the past few years, I've grown bored of dark and gritty reboots. I think Michael Bay is one such person responsible for my boredom. But I still have a guilty pleasure in seeing artists take some of the cheesiest villains and turning them into brilliant, scary foes. For example, Superman the Animated Series took Darkseid and turned him from a rapey stalker of Wonder Woman into a cunning overlord that wins no matter what.

So, I look forward to your and Trickie's comics, albeit Trickie's reboot is adorable, not gritty. You take some of the lousiest, one-dimensional recolors and give them attitudes and behaviors that make them individually memorable. I even found myself wanting to see more of Lolissa's story. You also make the terrible villains sympathetic In fact, they likely need to be sympathetic, because they were all people who were just doing their jobs. Chris demonized them really quickly. But if there's one character that should be a good guy througout, it's Dagget [née Bagget]. He was a local hero who only followed a sensible procedure.

I do want to see your rendition of ScotPalazzo now.

Oh yeah, I'm imagining a full-on fight between Dagget and Wild with this music:

Silvana, perhaps?
I like the song selection. Personally, I imagine something more akin to this:
And oh Jeez, ScotPalazzo... that should be interesting to incorporate...

I also haven't lost interest. I check here every couple of days for da update. I can't speak for anyone else but I'm just interested in seeing where the magical adventures of Sonichu And Friends is going. ;)

There's also been a lot of other things going on at the Farms too so some people might just be looking at that. You know, what with the sluthate thread bogarting everyones attention.
Who is hating sluts? They deserve all the prickly wicklies, I tell you whut.
(Seriously, I know what you're talking about, but I've been investing myself more with the Wu/GG/Dobson/Coffin three-ring circus and didn't want to completely lose my mind, but I get what you're saying)

Not gonna lie I read through this entire thread friday morning while going through intense tooth pain and it was the greatest thing ever and kept me at the edge of my seat (read : bed) and now looking back on it it's still keeping my interest. Pursonally I wish there was more than one page per weekly update but that's just me trying to see how all of this unfolds and being super selfish lmao (also to see how much more of a dick Sonichu is because holy fuck I love this fancomic , keep up the good work ! )
I actually try to upload about three pages a week... then again... lessee... 100 pages over the course of 52 weeks...1.92 pages per week... huh. I guess technically it is just once a week, innit? I'll need to fix that...

And the sucks with the tooth pain. Hope it's died down by now. If not, may I suggest a couple of Vicodin and a spoonful of cloves. It's kind of like eating a tastier version of mace, but it works. Plus you'll smell like a box of Necco wafers for the rest of the day.

Sorry I don't comment as often, been real busy with the Sluthaters.

Just replace the cute chick with Spunky and the egg with Sonichu's face.
"Any questions?"

I think I'm just a little confused at the progression of the plot at this point to know what to say. It's not anything against your comic, I'm terrible at following multiple plotlines lol

This comments were actually really helpful for me and confirmed what I was thinking was the comic's greatest weakness. I tend to flitter around from plotline to plotline, trying to cover as much as possible kind of like how a soap who jump from scene to scene. Only problem is while a soap has like five or seven stories going on in an hour, as evidenced above, I'm lucky to have 6 pages up in month.

Shit, it's a miracle people have even bothered to keep up this long.

So, with this in mind, starting with today's page, I'm going to be doing something I'm calling the Punchy Initiative, which is essentially pulling all of these separate threads into two camps, one the "Rosechu Takes Tokyo" storyline and the second being the "Crisis at the Shopping Centre" storyline. Here's to hoping Punchy can achieve all this... and me too since I'm making the pages, but most of it falls onto him. Hm.

Wife, get off the TV. Go. Go Now. It's cartoon time." xD

Also, Spunky's mugshot is the best. I hope Chris gets one soon so you can draw his current mugshot.

Here, have some Winner ratings.

My godbear, I didn't realize that Wild, Angelia, and Roberta were the Trailer Trashchus. (note to self: copyright Trailer Trashchu, Monster Truckchu and NASCARchu Stock Car Racingchu...)

I need to make a mental map of where everyone is, location-wise. So far, it's CWCville Mall, PVCC, and I'll say Wasabiyaki, right? I'm trying to remember if Sonichu and Chloe are in the same location as Angelica and Wild.

Wha-heeeey, my internet is finally working again. Let's answer some questions!

Did Angelica have a kid with Chris or something when we weren't looking. That baby looks too much like Chris
Don't give me ideas. :p

But no, that's not Chris' kid. Just some poor brat that will be baptized into the Church of our Godbear Savior and will spend their Sundays learning about the glory that is Chris and the Godbear.

I forget who was even being kept hostage lmao
and the news is wrong about megagi "assisting" sonichu innit

It was supposed to be Lolisa, but yeah, it's been a while. And no, the KCWC isn't the most reliable news source, but I suppose it's on par with most major cable news stations in that regard.

I would've commented earlier, but Angelica had to come back as soon as you requested some feedback. So of course I needed to spend a few days in my bunker.

I love that attitude on Spunky's (NOT MEGAGI'S) face though, as well as how deceptively innocent Sonichu looks.

"Zero out of ten. Would not bang."

I gotta admit though that yeah, there are a lot of plots going on and when I tried remembering what was exactly happening at this point, I realized I couldn't quite remember all of the exact details of the plot either, the Spunky and Magi-Chan backstory is still fresh in my mind, but otherwise I think I'm gonna have to reread this puppy fairly soon.

Ahh Punchy you magnificent bastard!

Also, if your babies look like Bob Hoskins, Winston Churchill or Phil Mitchell, then you're drawing them right.
