Apologies about not getting something new to you folks earlier - it's been a helluva trip thus far.

Here's the deal- for my vacation I wanted to run portable, so I got myself a decent refurb Windows 10 laptop to go along with a Huion GT-156 graphics tablet. Easy traveling right? Well, at least in theory.

When I landed in the islands however, I've been dealing with a gamut of problems. For one, the tablet only apparently talks to Windows 10 OS's if you do a bit of wire tango beforehand - you can't just have things plugged in and have it work. For two, while coming to this conclusion, I managed to get my Windows 10 into an endless restart loop and had to do some by-the-beach IT work.

But, as it is, I got things finally kinda sorta working. My hope is to crank out a Sin Sonichu page for you fine folks once a day and continue to attempt to do a regular yarn page on Sundays. Unfortunately, can't promise anything - computer issues, etc.

But! I know you aren't here for my whining... let's get this sordid affair on its way...

Well that’s why I use my Windows 10 computer for speech bubbles and specialized fonts. I started using my iPad Pro for my art for the last week or so and it’s been working out great. But aside from that man, technical problems are going to be a thing when new hardware is involved. We’re all glad that you’re doing fine and that it might take some time.

Yup, and it's been years that I've been using Imgur to host TRS without any issue. I dunno, maybe they take pity on me for being so re.tarded.

Aye - my usual workstation is a Windows 7 and it works gloriously... and of course that OS'd end of life is in about 6 months. Thanks Microsoft!

Apologies about the lack of stupid Sonichu shit yesterday. Actually got off the resort and did actual vacation shit.

 
Thanks @Cedric_Eff - comments help me gauge what people are thinking of my bullshit better than comment ratings (although I do appreciate fake internet points all the same).

Anyway, as promised Sundays will continue to have the usual TRS yarn while I do Sin Sonichu nonsense.

 
Man, Magi can’t ever seem to catch a break, even when he does.

EDIT: I really love what you do with blacks and whites, @_blank_ its what makes these side stores comics especially dynamic.

Not to say I don’t love the colored main story too. ;)

Seriously though, thanks for the compliment. Usually with the noir style, I'm allowed a certain level of abstractness that I typically don't have with the full color pages. That, plus the fact that black and white make up about 95% of the color palette means I'm usually able to crank out a page much quicker.

Normally anyway. Last night I actually did some vacation touristy bullshit for once so I was away from the tablet. Tonight I had to pack up shop since they're kicking me out of the resort tomorrow morning. And tomorrow night I'm probably going to be flying over the Pacific and heading back to the mainland. I hope to get something done this weekend while I recuperate from the jet lag.
