Back when I first was sketching out this page, I tried to replicate Mary flying around while standing on glowing tiles, and no matter what I tried it always looked incredibly ridiculous. So I went with a more tried and true "flying" pose.

Also years ago when I first drew Mary arriving in Tokyo, someone commented how she looked like the fireball effect and contrail made it look like she was arriving in a giant sperm. Instead of taking offense to it, I've decided to incorporate that look intentionally, because I'm classy af.
