Oh man! I friggen loved this installment! Might be my favorite so far, Mitch is awesome and it's all just so damned creepy.

I'm quickly beginning to realize my definition of horrifying must be skewed. I was honestly trying to just hit "ugly" not so much "can't sleep, Bridechu will eat me." Like really makes me worried what's gonna happen when I draw Wheels...
Now imagine having to hear this song 5 times a day for about six months straight. Then times that by about 40 similar sounding songs by 40 other similar white guys and you are beginning to understand why I'm not completely "there" anymore.
Annnnd the only reason I used Blake Shelton was because it fit the alliteration. But hey, now you've learned a new country song to impress your friends and relatives with.

One of the joys of working in a radio station- I get to hear allll the the rock, pop, and country songs, again and again and again and again and again and but during the stone age...... Anyway, Shelton IMO is one of the more obnoxious country hayseeds. But don't take my word for it- educate yourself:

Gooood evening all-
Well, good news and bad news. Good news is IRL I just wrapped up a print project for work I've been working on since August, so finally have some breathing room. Bad news is, due to scheduling and having to cover other people's butts, I'm not getting another day off at work until December. That doesn't mean TRS is going to disappear, but just letting you know it may still be a bit slow on the updating.
So, in lieu of not having done tonight, I present to you some pointless goodies.
The first is an incomplete piece I was going to do for Halloween. Essentially my plan was to take the Chaotic Combo and put them all in Halloween costumes because yes. Anyway, Trickie beat me to the punch in updating for Halloween and I didn't want this to come off as me trying to one-up or anything. Anyway, we got Hulk Sonichu Hogan, Corgi Wild, Dominatrix Angelica, and Clyde Punchy Cash. Spunky, Megagi, Rosechu, Lolisa, Bubbles, and Zombie Simonla were gonna be in here too. Ah well, maybe next year.
The next piece isn't a piece of artistic work, but just a glimpse inside this madness. This is where your TRS comes from kids. Just wanted to show that you don't need the most expensive toys and furniture to function as an illustrator (not saying "artist" because to call what I'm doing "art" is a bit of a stretch.). Instead, all you need is perseverance and awesome fans/ commenters like y'all.
Also, 1,000th post. Booooeeeeeeee....

I have heard that fucking song 5x a day, and I hated it from the first time I've heard it.
It sounds like it was written by someone who hates country music, and hates people who like country music even more. The "chew tabakka chew tabakka chew tabakka SPIT" chorus is a dead giveaway that the writer is not only hates country music, but hates the very idea of music and people in general.

Indeed I have. I've read it many many times. It was pretty much my first jaunt outside of Marvel & DC comics.
However, speaking of which...
Man, I miss the old Deadpool comics, esp. the Joe Kelly run. To be honest, I stopped reading Marvel around the time they wheeled out House of M, so I have no clue what's happened to Blind Al, Weasel, or even T-Ray. Knowing my luck, they probably got Bendis or Loeb on them and they totally fucked it up.
Blind Al Chu is the best!
So, back on TRS, we've finally hit page 80! Fireworks for everyone- please do not ingest the fireworks or give to kitty.
