Also, why does wild not like Spunky's music choices? Is it just that he's raised on like, country music or whatever southerners listen to? That Golden Knight is cute! I want one!

I wonder what exactly Chloe means by "when she comes back" exactly? Like, is she going to be mostly normal with the exception of an allegiance change, or is she going to be more like a zombie?

"Gub" indeed. Most appropriate reaction to Chrissun and his abominations ever. Also, I just realized how well that assinine "Kermit the frog with throat cancer" impression Chris does when he tries to sound strong and buff fits this Colossal Chan.
 
"I'm okay though" was priceless. Do you ever worry that if you channel Chris too perfectly you'll get stuck that way? :c

I think I'm the only one not enjoying Dagget's lines though. Maybe I don't get enough of the references.
 
Omg. This is so good. Do you do all the art traditionally, like with pens and markers (minus the word bubbles, obvs)? Major props dude, this art style is awesome. I love all your redesigns, I love how you exaggerated things (like Rosechu's were-form), and I love the... dark and uncomfortable place you took it towards the end. Obviously very gross, but hey- that's what CWCville was.

At first I wasn't too sure how I felt about Sonichu being the evil one causing all the problem, but you delivered your case very well I think. It works amazingly. :biggrin:

Looking forward to more.

Srsly tho, maybe probably. One of my underlying goals is to include every single character in Sonichu at least once in TRS.

Anyway, yup, one of the goals with TRS was to draw this close to the same way CWC used to draw Sonichu. Everything is drawn on copy paper and mostly colored with Crayola markers. I do cheat a little though and use a few Prismacolors in places and I use Micron pens, which is something I don't think Chris ever did. And I do use Photoshop, but 95% of it is only for background coloring (to save on ink) and word balloons.

As for Sonichu, one of the things I do with characters is I only deal in grays instead of black and white, as I hope the next page will help address.

Also, apologies for this being somewhat phoned in. Today was my first full day off since July 13 so I've been running on fumes. Hoping to get my stride back before much longer.

Frankly, it's more impressive that you're doing it with Crayola markers, I thought it was Copic/Prismacolors for sure for everything. I imagine it takes a lot of talent to do anything decent with that shit D: Only thing worse would be... what's that company called? RoseArt? Anyway, bravo, it's very refreshing to see a traditional artist with this kind of talent.

And I think I see that... for sure. Gray and gray morality is very interesting when done right, and it seems like you're on the right track.

I wonder if Sonichu just stumbled into Chris's id... or maybe his hidden dark side that the Seven Sages sealed away with autism.

This little jaunt is mostly going to be a quick look into Sonichu's inner workings, which is to help explain why I'm writing him like such an ass. None of this is to be directly construed as things that actually happened, but how Sonichu perceives things in his own mind.

Also, page 60! Make sure to put on your crash helmet- it's about to get all existential up in this bitch!
