You know, I know some people joked and/or speculated that Christine was the result of Rosechu havIng an affair with Magi-Chan because Chris used the same purple marker to color them, but this is the first time I've thought that instead Sonichu was the one who was being unfaithful to his wife! It falls in line with your characterization of Sonichu though, so props to you for that!

Also, I swear Wild reminds me more and more of Goofy everytime I see him in this comic.

Yeah, I'm gonna need to work a little on Wild's design because I'm realizing that too. Not saying it's a bad thing, but it wasn't my intention to make him into a green Goofy.

Yeah dude- go for it. Just so long as people aren't making money off of it or watermarking my stuff with their own logos or whatever, I'm pretty open if anyone wants to make icons or whatever from my stuff.

Hmmm. Given that we are in the LEGO Saga now, have you considered drawing a sketch of Lego Chris?

They don't make minifigs shaped like pears stacked on top of each other... but I'll see what I can do.

I loved Blake's wedding pic too XD And I agree with everyone else, Megagi's design is really good - especially liked the "How?!" reaction panel.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope you realize the underlying hilariousness of the thought that ANYTHING relating to Sonichu could get ANYONE a job.

Still, I really do appreciate the thought. And to be honest, 60% of what I do is just osmosis from observing other artist's work, and 30% of it is just practice and experimentation. The remaining 5% is remembering how to hold a pencil/ pen/ marker. The best trainer is yourself and, not so much not fearing failure, but more having a indifference towards it and having enough grace to deal with it without having to make up excuses.

Oh I know that anything related to Sonichu wouldn't land you a job, but if you were to show that artwork to someone at a con they might like your art style enough. You really do show an amazing versatility with your work and that is what most editors or whatever like to see.

I'd say if he wanted to do that, maybe present some artwork that's a little less derivative than a Sonic/Pokemon hybrid in a world that could best be described as a hodgepodge of copyright infringement. Perhaps draw in a similar style, but definitely don't expect to present Sonichu artwork to a major publisher like DC or Marvel.

I gotta say, I am really enjoying this comic, _blank_. Back in the fanart thread when you first posted sketches and mentioned wanting to do a fancomic, I had no idea I'd be this engrossed in the story. I could tell you were a really talented artist based off the original sketches, but I was also really glad to see you were an excellent writer as well. I have no idea how long this comic will endf up being or how far you plan on taking it, but I am really looking forward to whatever comes next. You can take a severely simplistic and stupid source material and make it into a well-drawn, eaddicting read with great characterization, awesome action scenes....I don't know if this is The Reall Sonichu so much as its the ANTI-Sonichu.

Thanks for that, although I really don't think it's anything so incredible. All I'm doing is attempt to scrape out all the creepy masturbatory fantasies Chris put into these comics and instilling characterization in to the characters. That's it, really. Or maybe I have a mutant power to make suck less sucky. If that's the case, I'm gonna remake Manos: The Hands of Fate.

As for the length - you guess is as good as mine. Like I mentioned previously, I have a starting point and an estimated ending point. However, I have no idea how long the path is, or if I'll even land on that spot. I was originally thinking this was gonna be about fifty pages, but I just published page 39 and nowhere close to being done. I started this back on Christian Love Day, and I suspect I'll still be doing this come next CLD, barring any unforeseen circumstances.

So, like we did with page 28, I left the text out this time around so other people can add in their own text bubbles, purely for the lulz.

Of special note, this is the first time I've drawn Rosechu proper. It's nowhere near as good as Trickie's version, however. Gotta figure out how to make her hair/quills actually work.

But for now... enjoy the one-act play / "very special episode" that is page 40, where we glimpse back to where Megagi confesses to Rosechu she's got the preggers.

Annnnd yeah. Sonichu just kinda... happened when I was drawing this. I had a different idea of how the last two panels would play out, but Sonichu just... came into being on this. I dunno what it is, but his face just works perfectly for me here.

(And yeah, colored and lettered final version tomorrow.)
