Spunky summons a pair of mystical weapons of a far gone age... or guns, yeah, I guess they're just guns. :P

Looks like it's going to be a great page, but I don't know if I'm clear on what Magi-chan and Spunky's motivations are in relation to helping Sonichu. It was sort of established at the beginning of the comic that Magi-chan regards Sonichu as someone who's not a good guy. I mean, it does make sense that they're fighting on the same side now just to keep Chris out of jail, but it wasn't really acknowledged. I don't know, it just seems a little weird.

All the fighting is still loads of fun, though xD

Yeah, it's kind of convoluted, but as I'll probably have as exposition/ battle-chatter in the next few pages, basically Magi-Chan is in a rock and a hard place with Chris. He doesn't trust Sonichu for obvious reasons, but at the same time, he has reasons to not trust Walsh and the PVCC (that and plus the fact that even if he sided with Walsh, he would still be considered an accomplice for harboring a fugitive, so that's no fun). If he had his way, he would keep Chris hidden in a bunker for the rest of Chris' life.

And why does he want to keep Chris safe and secure? I got reasons for that too...

I reeeeally like Chloe's ears.

And approve of Taratino Hyper Violence!

Okay, I really AM coloring these things still. Just finished the main colors on the previous page and just need to do the polishing before I reupload it. Also started the coloring on this one, but trying to submit these before it's too much of an ungodly hour, etc. etc.

Also, thank you Chris for the inspiration of this next few pages.

Couple of things:
1) Last panel is supposed to be a a framed picture of Simonla and Wild (what he's holding in panels 2 & 3). Hopefully it'll make more sense when I complete coloring it.
2) Yes, my depiction of Simonla is a seven-foot tall, body-building, she-mullet amazonian mole-rat. I figure it helps explain how she is able to dig tunnels with her fists and how she was able to not die immediately after having the equivalent of 50 pounds of Semtex go off under her ass.

And here I was about to ask about how you were gonna handle Simonla what with Chris's recent revelation.

And once again I am amazed at your abilty to make me actually CARE anout Wild and Simonla in the space of one page. Bravo, good sir.

Gotta love the Oblivion guard reference. xD

Spunky is badass in that first panel, so awesome! x3 Also, this is her house? I thought they were in a bunker under Cwcville mall or something.

I'd recommend putting maybe one of Wild's thumbs against the glass or something to help illustrate that what the audience is seeing is the same object that's in Wild's hands. They'll make a connection to the picture frame right away.

EDIT: Also, I know that "Sumbah" is supposed to be a variation on "Son of a bitch!", but I can't help but think of this when I read it in my head:

And alternatively, this:

without color i'm so confused ; ; damn my face blindness
Well, hopefully this will cheer you up a wee bit...

Hooray leftovers from Friday! Yaaay! I'll be coloring today's page tomorrow and hopefully uploading it in the next 24 along with a handful of sketches I still owe people.

They are in the mall's bunker- I just thought it sounded more personal when she said "home." And technically she does live there, but yeah.

And good idea with the thumb image. I may have to revise the panel entriely so it doesn't just end up looking like a big with blog however... but it's doable. Thanks. :)

Mmm, sweet crayola technicolor. Also, Chris' one arm alone is bigger than Sonichu is, and for some reason that makes me so happy. xD

Alternatively, you could also desaturate the lineart and colors in photoshop a bit. That should help too.

Also also. . .are you a fan of Bloom County? Because the way you draw Wild reminds me so much of Bill The Cat.
I can't say I've ever actually read Bloom County, but I do know of it. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if I subconsciously took something from the art style. As for Wild, honestly, what happened is that I marathoning the TV show Justified, and I kind of just amalgamated Dewey Crowe's intellect and Boyd Crowder's lankiness and accent into a Sonichu character that was composed like a heap of leaves.

First part, I actually chronicled the development of my interpretation of Collossal Chan. Might drop that tomorrow.

Second, y'know, so much of what I've done I really REALLY want to run through Photoshop. But, I am forcing myself to work within limitations. The only Photoshopping I allow myself is to color the backgrounds, the text balloons, and the sound effects. The rest is honest and true hand-drawn and colored with marker, as the original master would prefer.
