Aww my God! This is hilarious! I'm just finishing up the first series, and this is reading like a parody of a parody-gone-horribly-wrong! I could pick out all the details, the way the drawing makes everything look like rubber, and just how animated it seems. What I'm trying to say is by golly, I need to spend some time catching up here!

And here we go again! My editors said I did okay, but apologies in advance if anything looks skewed or anything. Still getting used to these new lenses and squares are still looking like trapezoids. Of course, I kinda doubt that's the least of my problems with this comic...

It's interesting having the first reporter against a completely black background except for the police lights. I do like the explosive last panel, though; really captures the rage!

A lot of the backup cast seems to have gotten involved in reporting and the like since Chris's reign. And it fits a lot of them too. so kudos on that one.

Fun fact: Adding news reporters/ investigators into a storyline saves a fuckton of trouble explaining why a character is so dead-set in spelling out everything for the reader/ viewer. Plus you don't have to explain why their pulling all of this information: they're just good at their job.

But yeah, it's also because I needed someone to help set up the next few scenes. And since Lolisa is presently indisposed, I figured I'd just pull up a character I figured would be fun to be essentially that backup reporter every news station has- the one that realizes they're backup and is kinda resentful about the whole situation. Layla seemed to fit the bill quite nicely.

Little bit of a homage to Kentaro Miura's Berserk, really. Granted, this comic probably isn't going to be as dark and twisted as Berserk, but I'd be lying if that manga hasn't influenced a lot of my art in one way or another.

Yep, I certainly do appreciate the hard work, the stunning drawing, and even the captivating writing. And considering this is technically a fan-fiction of THE sloppiest product of the Internet's stupidity cluster, I am perplexed and amazed.

What I'm trying to say is, I support you and keep up the hard work!

You know you begin to hit a new level of insanity when you start researching fighting techniques and stances (in this case - Capoeira) for a character in a fancomic of a fancomic. But there ya go. Expect a bit more fighting and action shots, if only because I was getting bored of just drawing people standing around.

Hahah awesome! Crystal doesn't fuck around, I guess? I can't wait to see what Chris-chan Sonichu is like. I'm almost hoping for blue and white body paint and a paper ear that refuses to stand upright. I wonder if Crystal will transform too? That'd be an interesting fight to see.
