Yeah, I totally spaced putting a theme song up for the last page. Props to @MrJakeTerror for taking the reigns. I would probably have used that song too, if not this page then certainly for another.


Thanks- trying out different stuff and different ways of putting things together. I used the same method this time around...

Spoiler: art sperging

First I start up in Manga Studio, laying out the panels and making a quick sketch of how I want everything to lay out...

I print this out, as well as the blank panels and using a lightboard, I refine the sketches with a .3 mechanical pencil and then a final page using Micron pens:

Afterwards, I scan this in at 600dpi and add the color and text.

I'm still testing different shading styles, as you porbably noticed over the last couple of pages. In the meantime, I might go back to just doing it in marker- I dunno. Pros and cons either way.

Y'know....its a creepy thing that annoys and creeps me out about alot of comic strip artwork. Many artists continue to do that creepy shortcut of leaving an empty white space where BOTH eyes go, and then drawing two "pupils" on what can only be one gargantuan eyeball.

Jigliami -- goddamn her soul to the realm of blind cyclops in blind cyclops hell -- was, accidentally, the perfect parody of that, because she was the most egregious example of it. Especially how @_blank_ drew her.

After this comment, I was honestly thinking of having her body shamble around a bit with spiders pouring out of her wounds while her mouth silented mouthed prayers to the Old Ones... but I have a page schedule to keep.

Yeah, going from the original design of Nait, I figured I could either give him big honking eyebrows, or a pair of Mike Tyson-esque tribal tattoos, and I figured the eyebrows would be more versatile. All the same, they annoy me too.
