So! Totally upfront: I HATE this page. So yes, please tear it a new one. Working on this with my right shoulder still fucked up, and relying on caffeine, Advil, and Icy Hot to keep me going, I hit a level of complete indifference with this one, guys and gals. When it came to do the extra shading, I totally just said "fuck it- just use a gray tone."

Soooo yeah, not the best thing ever, not gonna lie. But I had to get it done so I could move on to a better page. Here's to page 185 not looking like complete ass.

Yeah, writing Nait was a bit cathartic.

Yeah, I totally spaced putting a theme song up for the last page. Props to @MrJakeTerror for taking the reigns. I would probably have used that song too, if not this page then certainly for another.

Thanks- trying out different stuff and different ways of putting things together. I used the same method this time around...

Spoiler: art sperging

First I start up in Manga Studio, laying out the panels and making a quick sketch of how I want everything to lay out...

I print this out, as well as the blank panels and using a lightboard, I refine the sketches with a .3 mechanical pencil and then a final page using Micron pens:

Afterwards, I scan this in at 600dpi and add the color and text.

I'm still testing different shading styles, as you porbably noticed over the last couple of pages. In the meantime, I might go back to just doing it in marker- I dunno. Pros and cons either way.
