I've got this gross theory that Chris originally intended to pair himself with Angelica. She's the only one he visited as a baby, she's the most human of them (raised by people, doesn't have a tail without explanation), she has the heart spots which only love interest Sarah Hammer shares (their designs are almost identical except for colour and wings)...

Huh, I never realized that Saramah's cheek spots were heart shaped. But I'm pretty sure that Angelica's were always rOh my god he changed them. Well fuck me.
 
True story, he changed them in the same issue, between the mass birthday party and the beach scene. So they came in right after she turned nineteen. Like the little button that pops out when a turkey's done cooking. And then he never messes them up again. It's just a fucking weird continuity thing. He either drew the pages a long time apart or changed them for a reason he never mentioned anywhere.

That actually makes some sense, especially when one considers that Reginald Sneasel is yet another proxy for Chris (while he's in the time void). I find it interesting that when he changed it and made Angelica and Reginald an item is when he abandoned his plan, with Ivy's influence, to pair Angelica and Punchy off.

Haven't even seen her properly yet and I already love Silvana! She's like Batman!

Can't wait for her to beat the crap out of Mrs Creepy Godbear.

Orrr you can let the crazy person in the room do it for you. Also, not sure if I got the sexy part right.... kinda hard to tell with characters with muzzles for faces. Also, Silvana and emo-Magi added as per Ivy's request.

At this rate we need to see what Chris says happened to Sonichu's children too.

Yeah, I've never been much of a Yugioh fan, but I remember that move/ card/ whatever to being very... anime-riffic sounding. Plus, I pretty much invented that move for Angelica/ ripped off from X-Men's Archangel, so I really wasn't going to use too much in the brains department to give it a better name.

Anyway, here's the latest page. Also a head's up- I'm going to be entertaining company over the weekend, which is normally the time I have to work on TRS. Instead of cranking out a bunch of shit, I'm going to just say next week I'll have new pages up on Wednesday and Friday, and the remainder will be sketch days.

And yes, I did change up Silvana's costume, both in color and appearance. The latter, because her original design was just nasty looking, even by Chris' standards. The former, because one of the things I begun to notice more while drawing and coloring this is that Chris has a LOT of purple characters (Lolisa and her purple dress, Mary Lee Walsh, Magi-Chan, Chloe Rosechu, Darkbind, Megagi La Skunk), so I made the executive decision to change up Silvana just a bit. After all, she's a shape-shifter- she likes variety. Or something.
 
And with one conversation, I can sense more history and whatnot between these two than any conversation Chris has ever written.

I can't help but look at Silvana's face and picture her saying "Join me Chris, and I will make YOUR FACE the GREATEST IN CHARLOTTESVILLE, or else you will DIE!"
