Sonichu [Fan Comic] Rosechu's Story - A reimagining of the Sonichu story from Rosechu's perspective.

Rosechu's face in the last panel is great. I feel like that so often in my daily life.

I actually debated doing that panel, just because she's going to be grumpy enough throughout this conversation and I didn't want it to seem like she hates Kel, but the look on her face is too priceless.

Last panel: Rosechu reminds me of my family's older cat that would give you a similar expression whenever you picked him up... I miss that old beastie...

That's too bad. He sounds like he was a great old cat.

Kel makes an interesting dynamic, doesn't she? part Rosechu's mom, part big sister. Also, for whatever reason, in the first panel with the car in the background, I believe this is the first scene where other people have been around Kel and Rosechu this entire series thus far. Granted, I'm sure it may be a passing vehicle, must it must be quite the sight to se a young adult walking alongside what must look like a giant chimpanzee with a messed up tail. I dunno... my brain is wandering.

With the ears and the fur, she'd probably look more like a bipedal cat, actually. A bipedal cat with a very large head.

Man, I love Kel's and Rosechu's chemistry. I'm really hoping Kel will be able to come back someday.

Hope Kel doesn't do that in this comic, or if she does I hope there's some legitimate reason or different characterization for it, I dunno. I woke up a few hours ago and can't explain myself too well right now. Point is, it would suck if this version of Kel turned into a cold blooded murderer for no reason.

Probably has to do with Chris's brainwashing or something..poor kel never stood a chance against his bent duck voodoo.

Kel will be returning, and she'll be participating in the execution of the Asperpedia Four, but I'm going to be trying not to use brainwashing as a plot device to explain a character's strange behavior. Or at least, not magic brainwashing. If it's going to be brainwashing, it's going to be the traditional kind that takes time.

IIRC, Chris was taking criticism from troll-gf of the week about not keeping characters in the comic. Too many people appeared once never to be seen again, which made it feel "incomplete." I think that was his attempt to placate the troll-gf and obtain china. Could be mixed up though. But yeah, it was Kel.

I find myself wondering if somehow you and @_blank_ are working together. Like your story is the past Rosechu, and his is the present. Sonichu is so cute and naive and easily impressionable in your story who knows what CWC will do to him.

I just had a weird thought. What made Sonichu call Chris "father" in the first place? He acknowledged being born by the rainbow. I guess Chris farts rainbows. I know Chris broke the 4th wall (great director) so that must have been it.

I will still secretly hope and pray your Sonichu never meets Chris.

As for Rosechu: go and slap to the extreme!

Maybe Chris gives her the wacky tobacky and tricks her into thinking she's in the middle of an important pokemon battle. Only unbeknown to Kel, her hand gestures are really her shooting poor Evan.

Layla looks adorable, like a 90s high school girl slightly niave about dating, which makes sense since she was in Date ed.
As for removing the skank, making the jeans/overalls go up to her chest did wonders.

One-shoulder strapped overalls, side ponytails (with scrunchies!), and Lisa Frank stickers were pretty much my uniform back in the day. I'm a little bit sad that overalls aren't a thing anymore, because, y'know, why wear one belt around the waist when you can where two around your armpits?

... ooh! I'm getting all off-topicy here. Back to business: Kel's expressions are so adorable!! I can totally imagine her as a friend that could totally get away with murder because how can you get mad at a face like that?

Of all the brilliant decisions you've made in this comic, keeping the hedgehogs tiny is officially my favorite. I never realized how much was lost due to Chris's inability to draw them (or anything else) at a consistent size.

That and Rosechu's giant boots. And yes, that face in the last panel.

I actually talked to him about it when I first started writing for the comic, just because I had a basic idea, but what I'm going for isn't quite compatible with the TRS universe. There are too many differences between the characters, things like that.

Come to think of it, I don't think I really have a lot of characters dying in the story. Just looking at the story I've got right now, though, it's probably going to be a lot more like Breaking Bad, at least in general structure. I'm not actually going to have Rosechu turn into a drug lord. Although...

Mostly it was because of Moon Pals using characters that disappeared for no reason. That's why it specifically shows Kel, Bill the Scientist, and Alison Amber killing him.
